Advantages: fun to watch
Disadvantages: teaches kids violence
As an adult that watches the WWF and thoroughly enjoys it. To me its the best comedy to come from America since Cheers. But considering that it's aimed at children I can't believe the amount of fights using items such as bin lids, chairs, etc. All this does is teaches kids more ways of playfighting that could result in more serious injuries than the normal pulled hair or scraped knee. Now I know that it's just entertainment, but try telling that to your kids, who straight after watching the latest programme want to go out and try the latest moves. Surely they can put on a show without hitting each other with chairs, binlids, sticks etc or jumping from the top of cages onto their opponent. While were on it is there any need to promote the fact that Chyna is in the latest edition of playboy. I'm not a prude but this is kids entertainment. Thats what adverts are for. But still it's fun to watch.

- 02/06/02 I can't be arsed to argue as i don't have a good arguement, but i will say you are a fuckin neddy. It's not aimed for kids, Mick Foley wouldn't fly through a ring fire with barbed wire around it, to gain the respect of a 6 year old. |

- 13/03/01 I enjoy sitting in front of the TV, bag of tortillas in one hand, dippas in the other and have a good laugh watching those big wimps "fighting". When it gets interesting is when woman join! Most of them are really hottttttt! :) |

- 31/01/01 There was a very good TV programme on a few months ago which showed how all the stunts on WWF were performed and how the whole performance is staged. My children watched this and now realise that this is acting not violence. They laugh at most of the show anyway. |
