As a supporter of the Warrington Wolves I have relied on the television in order to keep up with their progress. Pre-season reports were full of promise, the signings of Gee, Langer and Nikau seemed to indicate the ambition of the club, and some pundits were even tipping the team for a top three place. However, even after the early promise of the cup, the team has only performed one week in two in the super league. They are inconsistent, sometimes turning in sparkling performances one week, and being inexplicable beaten the next. The result is a poor season for the Wolves, and one which has been their most disappointing in years considering the increased potential.
