The power of electronic media and fertile imagination of some very disturbed people and enemies of the Western civilisation either imagine or planted disinformation about one of the greatest tragedies to hit modern day USA. Those who believe 9/11 to be a conspiracy either believes that American government and agencies had a hand in this event or some believe that US government ignored and let 9/11 happen in order to facilitate foreign wars. I was chatting to my 16-year-old daughter recently about current affairs, and the topic of Islamic terrorism and the attack on the Twin Towers in 2001 came up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered she was utterly convinced that the U.S. Government and President George Bush were behind the attacks, and that they had been carried out by the U.S. Government and military in order to legitimise the subsequent U.S. occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq. One can never be 100% on issues like these. However if you look at 9/11 from logical point of view I don't think it was inside job. Over the years people running countries have done some very funny things. Even in America CIA has been doing all sorts of criminal acitivities from pushing drugs to political killings on American soil and abroad. Times have change though and in this day and age no government will kill its citizens to implement a strategy in this case invasion of Iraq for oil.
