A few years ago, well about 10! My Mam and her friend decided to go to Aqua-cise (as is the term for Water Aerobics at my local leisure centre) and they pursuaded me to join them. I really wanted to go and I had a free period at college the time of the class so I tagged along more out of curiousity than anything else. We got ... Read the complete review

St Annes is not exactly known for its wonderfully wide range of sporting options, but it does have a pool, and that pool offers Aqua Aerobics sessions and, once in a blue moon when we were at school, we’d go along and join in. This summer I was working in a hotel with a quite active Animation team who also offered classes in this, ... Read the complete review

Water Aerobics is really great and the best thing is that you don't even sweat as you probably would in a normal gym doing all those exercises. The water then, even if we ... Aquaerobics is for everyone. It is fun and very enjoyable. I found it an excellent way to get started exercising again after a long break from the gym. You all get in the water and find an area of space where you can stand up and still breath!!*L*.... which for short people such as myself can be difficult at times if ... Read the complete review

After years of hating excersise I decided to go along to my local sports center to see what was on offer to entice me into the excersising club...to my suprise I found you could do aerobics (a class I particularly hate !)in the water! I took my first Aquafit class a couple of nights ago at a local leisure centre and thoroughly enjoyed myself, as well as getting some much needed exercise!! Aquafit is like gentle aerobics, but in the water - so it is totally non-impact, and is especially good for people with weak bones or muscles, and who cannot do ordinary ... Read the complete review
