Advantages: The tradition it had.

Wembley has seen many great events. But with out doubt (my opinion by the way) the greatest event has to be the Football World Cup Final in 1966!! The world cup is the 2nd biggest sporting event in the world.

So since England did win it in 1966, that is the most recalled moment in the history of Wembley and will always be remembered as the finest moment of Wembley.

Although there have been other sporting events held at Wembley. It will however, be remembered more for the football matches.

The FA Cup is supposed to be the envy of the world. Wembley was always set as the showcase for the finals of the FA Cup.

Hard to imagine that it was originally the grey hound dogs who saved Wembley from extinction!!

Anyway.. for me 1966 was the finest moment for Wembley!
