Advantages: fun
Disadvantages: none
Well i have been on here just over a year now and in that year i have done a variety of things with my dooyoo miles in a variety of different ways,
I cashed out my first payment as a £50 cheque to pay for a bouncing castle for my daughters 5th birthday, they had a great day and loved it, it was money well spent to see the looks on there faces.
My second payment i also got as a cheque for £50 i put this in the bank and was planning on being careful about how i spent it but as usual it got eaten up by direct debits and the day to day running of our house pritty quickly.
After this i decided to collect my rewards as amazon vouchers and save them up towards christmas for my daughters as this way they could have extra presents, they had a few nice items from amazon that they loved, there favorite was the jungle in my pocket house to go with there puppy in my pocket house and all the animals to go with it.
This year my aim is to save up all my dooyoo miles towards a pushchair for our new arrival, i have a fair few months to go yet as it is early days so should be able to accumilate quite a lot and have seen a beautiful winni the pooh push chair on amazn that i like, it is expensive though at £180 so i dont think i will be payig for it soley with dooyoo miles but anything towarsds it will make it seem more of a bargain to me.
I know some people will think i am very selfish with my choices as the dooyoo miles dont go to charity but i am a firm believer that charity begins at home and we do a lot in our house in the way of charity already.
Summary: a great web site

- 09/01/09 awww I really liked this review, I wish I'd been able to have a bouncy castle when I was 5! I don't think you're being selfish at all, as the money you are making is going on family, bills etc-i personally think you're just being sensible, and good luck to you for when your new arrival comes :-) |
