Advantages: fab site, great rewards
Disadvantages: none I can think of
I joined dooyoo as I think it's a great idea to have a review site written by consumers for consumers. I found it quite by accident when looking to buy a new laptop - I found that dooyoo had good well balanced and readable independant reviews which in turn influenced me to make my purchase.
I'm only a new member so I have yet to accrue enough earnings to request a pay out. I love the idea of being able to be paid in Amazon vouchers - so handy for Christmas, birthdays and the like. I think that at the moment I will wait until I reach my £50 and have my earnings paid to me by cheque as I am feeling a little skint this weather - I think everyone is panicking with this "Credit Crunch" business.
Now I'm not going for the sympathy vote but I've been pretty "under the weather" for the past 6 months or so and things haven't been going great for me so I hope to add my earnings to my holiday fund so my daughter and I can have something really good to look forward to later in the year.
Also I must say that I've really felt welcomed by the great community spirit which I've found since I joined up here - everyone has been really nice.
Yeah - my extra money will go to the holiday fund and then after that I guess I'll start looking around on Amazon for little treats perhaps.
My "day job" is in a medical library and I really love reading so some new books would be great. Also the vouchers would be invaluable for Christmas as I spent a small fortune on Amazon this year!
I'm hoping to devote more time to my reviews over time and in turn write longer and more indepth pieces and I look forward to sharing them all with you lovely "dooyoo-er's" and earning some wee rewards too!
Summary: An invaluable way of sharing info and reaping little rewards

- 01/02/09 Bit odd to write a review on what you spend your earnings on without having actually been paid out yet. Bit like writing a review on bread and not having tasted it. Pointless. |
