Advantages: Getting money for my new-found addiction!
Disadvantages: I am addicted!
I've been reading other reviews of how people spend their Dooyoo money, so I thought I'd chip in and add my own.
Generally speaking, I am letting my points build up until I have enough to redeem a cheque. I'm looking forward to having a little bit of extra spending money from time to time, not least because my freelance work has been cut back quite significantly due to budget cuts (don't you just love the recession!). I recently set up a montly direct debit between my savings accounts so that I have some money saved up for the future, so some of my Dooyoo earnings will compensate for that money leaving my current account.
Later in the year, I will be looking to start redeeming some Amazon vouchers for Christmas presents. Somewhere in the middle I will probably be redeeming a voucher here and there to help with birthday present costs as most of my family and friends have birthdays that all seem to be quite close together!
Hopefully I haven't bored you all rigid yet as my Dooyoo earnings aren't going to be used to buy anything particularly riveting! I think it's fair to say that some of it will be used for the odd treat for myself, which I expect will result in some new reviews. I have my eye on a fair few Lush items after reading the reviews!
So far, I have redeemed two Amazon vouchers (for £10 and £15 respectively), a charity donation (£5 to cancer research) and one £50 cheque. All arrived promptly so I can legitimately comment on that aspect of Dooyoo!
Summary: Savings, presents and treats
