Advantages: Being able to spoil loved ones and yourself
Disadvantages: Zip, Nada, Zilch
I've read a few of these reviews now and decided to enlighten everyone as to what I spend my dooyoo earnings on.
I am waaaay to impatient to wait for £50 to accumulate and so I go for the Amazon vouchers in £10's. I found them extremely helpful just before Christmas when I wanted to buy great presents for people that I just couldnt afford being a student. So I really enjoyed getting my family and friends something a little bit extra with my dooyoo earnings. There really is nothing better than giving someone something and seeing the happiness on their faces and showing them that you love them. I know its not the price of a gift that counts, its the thought, but with everyone on such a tight budget at the moment it was nice to beable to get something a bit extra and spoil people.
Now however, I have decided to be a wee bit more selfish with my earnings, lol. Seeing as there are no major birthdays or holidays for a few months, I have set myself the goal of saving up £90 worth of vouchers to purchase the whole 9 seasons of the x-files. Whether I actually reach this goal or cave in and spend it on something else is another matter (like I said I am pretty impatient lol) Also I'm not sure how guilty it may make me feel, whether I can justify spending that on DVD's at the moment when I could use the vouchers to buy things I actually need. We will see when the time comes to click on that "add to basket" button.
There you go, thats how i spend them. Not very exciting.
Just a little update, incase you were wondering (which I doubt) I already caved in and spent my earnings on preordering Quantum of Solace lol. So back to £0 on my X-files fund.
Summary: Its all in a gift!
