Well after discovering Dooyoo last year I have to say that I go through periods of using the site a great deal and then not at all because I seem to suffer from creative exhaustion [if that's even real]!
I've always found the reward system to be very generous and enjoy reading other people's reviews as much as I do writing my own. I'm a person who loves to get their opinion across particulary when there's something that has really inspired me and I want to share it with the wider world.
I'm a student currently at college which means that a lot of the benefits money wise I'd receive at university have not yet entered my orbit [until September anyway], and with me having lost my part time job just after Christmas, money is extremely difficult to come by at the moment.
Maybe I'm selfish for using dooyoo for my own needs, I don't know. But I'm not going to outrageously spam or write hideous reviews like I've seen many a person doing. But I do use the miles I receive to get Amazon vouchers. I have a massive long list on Amazon of things that I need for going to university and my plan is to use the miles I earn on Dooyoo to reduce that list bit by bit over the next few months.
Before this the most common use for my miles has been presents for Christmas or birthdays. Dooyoo helps me a great deal in that I know I don't have to fret about putting so much money aside for gifts because I can usually pick a product off Amazon and then work weeks in advance to ensure I have enough miles.
My aim is to try and get myself a cheque as I usually just redeem my points for Amazon vouchers. Now that the site has risen the amount of miles you need in order to do this I think it may be easier for me to receive my first cash payment.
I would like to be able to give some of my miles back to the world and donate to charity but in the current economic climate I think charity should definately begin at home. When I barely have enough to live on myself I don't have any to spare for those in worse situations than me. I know it's heartless but that's the way it is for now.
Dooyoo is a fantastic site and a great opportunity to expand your writing talents and also feel that amazing sense of achievement when a package or cheque comes and you know that you have put time aside to make that possible.
Summary: A mini write up of where my hard earned miles trot off to
