Advantages: Gives me lots of things to enjoy
Disadvantages: It's sad when the vouchers are used up
Dooyoo miles are always converted into Amazon vouchers on my account, and will continue to be converted this way for a while. They are purely for enjoyment purposes rather than helping to pay the bills or spending on days out, and so far i have collected 110 000 miles for 200+ reviews. Not bad given that i write a lot in the archive section, and drop in and out from Dooyoo from time to time.
I try and spend my vouchers on things that interest me or things i find fun like games, sports gear and a hard drive for all my music. I generally don't have a lot of "fun money" at hand especially as i found recent finances strained so i like to get enjoyable things for myself that i wouldn't normally buy.
I normally buy things that i have been saving up for, things i can't afford or things i can only partly afford. I bought a hard drive worth £60 and actually paid £20 thanks to a £40 Amazon voucher from the Dooyoo team. Pretty nice if you ask me. So here's a short comprehensive list of all the stuff i've bought from Amazon since joining Dooyoo.co.uk:
--------
£30 CD Spree (went a bit mad here) - Addicted to bass 2009, winter 2009, 2010, winter 2010, 2011, 2012 and a few other dance CD's
£40 Buffalo 500GB hard drive (it was £60 so i got £40 off basically)
£30 Squash Racquet (Browning gun ti 120 carbon titanium)
--------
And here's things i am saving up for, hopefully by christmas:
--------
GTA V (Pre order) £50
DVD's £20 - you can get loads of ZOverstocks stuff for £1.27 so thats a fair amount to watch and listen to, i've got my eye on about 10 DVD's at the moment including "The Dictator", Sacha Baron Cohen, which hopefully will drop in price.
Preorder Forza 5 £40 - Summer next year Forza 5 will be out (here's hoping anyway)
Any smaller items that take my fancy like cables or tea bags if i've got some left over pennies from the vouchers, which i usually do.
--------
So basically i have had 6 months to get £110 and i need 6 months to get the same amount again. I'd better crack on then.
Summary: I get to enjoy things which i normally can't buy.
