Advantages: Lots of room for everything you need
Disadvantages: None
I don't have a bag as such, it's more of a rucksack that you'll see me with whenever I'm cycling to & from work. Casting my eye over it at the moment I can see:-
01) Waterproof trousers.
Usually by this time of the year these would be packed away at home for much of the time but with the weather being so changeable at the moment you really have to keep them with you every day.
02) Waterproof jacket.
As above. It's not too bad if you get soaked going home as you can always have a shower then get changed into dry clothes. Getting rained on on the way to work is not a good way to start the day however.
03) Dirty top.
I always change out of my cycling gear when I get to work so the top I've cycled into work in gets plonked in the rucksack
04) Deodorant.
Essential for cyclists. You perspire when wearing waterproof clothes as well as if the sun's shining. Even on the coldest days you should "freshen up" when you reach work.
05) Comb.
Using a cycling helmet will make your hair go flat & a bit messy so having a comb to tidy it up a bit is a must.
06) Bike clips.
Bike chains need oiling from time to time & it's all too easy to get the oil smeared on your trousers if you don't use clips to keep them from flapping about in the breeze.
Then, of course, there's the usual bits 'n' pieces:- mobile phone, wallet, keys etc.
All in all, a rather 'practical' rucksack rather than one full of miscellaneous odds 'n' ends. Not sure what that says about me as a person
Summary: A "practical" rucksack
