Advantages: Lots of things to keep me prepared.

Disadvantages: It makes my bag heavy, and a lot of it is actually very useless

Every month or so, I empty the bag I've been using the most and give it a good clear. It seems to me that I'm very good at carrying around crap that is really just unnecessary. So next to me lies this months accumulation of stuff, which all came out of a lovely and very large bag that a friend of mine made me for my birthday.

So first up is my phone! I know, not very exciting. My phone is a nokia N96 and it's kind of like a brick. It's got just about everything you could ever ask for on a phone, which is really not needed for me. But it makes me feel good to know that I can scan bar codes or have my text messages read out loud to me if need be.

Second comes the purse. Also like a brick, but a bigger one. It's a black thing from New Look, worn and tatty now. I think I have every single receipt I've ever been given stuffed in there. Currently it's a bit useless because it's filled with euros, as I've just been to France. Which reminds me, I need to get them changed.

Lip balm is a must have for me always. At the moment there is three in my bag. a strawberry one, an aloe vera one and a plain one. How exciting.

I always have a bottle of hand sanitizer handy. I use it far to much, but it's got to the point where I can't go out of the house without it. Can you blame me when we've got crazy swine flu everywhere?

My green ipod Nano, which is probably going to die soon as I've had it for over 2 and a half years and it's getting a tad worn. This keeps me entertained on the bus which I find myself riding a lot these days unfortunately.

Billions and trillions of bus tickets are always floating around my bag. There is no reason why I keep these, I just chuck them in my bag and then forget them. It becomes very difficult when I get a return ticket and then have to go through every single other ticket to find it when I get back on the bus.

I like to have a bit of make up in my bag, I rub my eyes a lot without thinking and then smudge it all off so I normally have with me a black eyeliner, a green eyeliner, Mascara and eyelash curlers.

There's two pens in there. You never know when you'll need a pen, so it never hurts to have some. Two in case the other runs out. Three would be ideal!

My camera, which I carry around with me most of the time is in a sock. It looks a bit scabby but I don't have a case and I'm too tight to buy one. A sock will do for me.

Paracetomal and Ibuprofen I have with me all the time. I'm way to reliant on them.

Got some plasters in there to, who knows when I could trip up, graze my knee and be in urgent need of a plaster!

I also have Soloxine tablets from the vet for my dog, Skye. I don't really know why they're in my bag. She has an overactive thyroid (I think) so she has to have one a day. If she doesn't she gets really depressed for some reason.

For some odd reason I have a fork in there. God knows how that got in there. But who knows when you'll need a fork? In fact I think I should put it back in there. It could be useful.

I always buy the Big Issue because I'm way to nice, so I've got a copy of it in there. I never ever read them, they just get put in the rat or the guinea pig cage. At least I helped some person selling it buy another packet of cigarettes though.

There is also a pair of (dirty) underwear in there, only because I stayed at my sisters last night so they've been changed...

A dessert recipe book also in there due to me being at my sisters. She cooked me a chicken Korma curry an I cooked her a rice pudding bake thingy. Turned out actually quite well surprisingly, although I finished it at about 11:30 PM due to a disaster with the milk.

Last of all, I've got some dove deodorant. I sweat a lot.

That is just about it. There are quite a few other pointless bits and bobs that I could bore you to death with, like the 50 hair grips, the tweezers and the endless sweet wrappers that are floating about, but lets not make this review drag on to much. Thanks for reading, hope it wasn't to boring.

Summary: I have a heavy bag
