What's In Your Bag?
My old bag was the sort of bag you would expect to find a child's sports kit in or something like that. I know it may have looked odd but then to be fair it did generally fit the bill of something lightweight that was only weighed down by whatever I chose to put in it.
Upon opening my old bag, the first thing I came across (as I pretty much always would have done when I still used it) was a box of batteries. This was for my digital camera which runs on 3 AAA batteries and the camera needs it's batteries changing every 40 or so photos so therefore I prefer to keep the batteries somewhere near the top of the bag.
The next thing I came across was a notepad with a pen clipped onto it. This is because if I remember something I need to do later or think of somewhere I could take some photographs or an idea for a photograph I could stage, then I find writing it down helps me to remember it.
The next thing I pulled out was a packet of tissues; something which I like to keep in my bag because I suffer from hay fever and end up sneezing profusely if I'm somewhere where there's a lot of flowers. Photography often takes me to flowers so therefore I tend to need the tissues a lot as well. For some reason these weren't as near to the top as I would generally prefer them to be but then I guess recently most of my photos have been taken inside or of things where there aren't too many flowers.
I then found my old bus pass for school. I had wondered where that went and didn't realise I had even had the bag so long that my old school things might still be in it. Still, at least I eventually found it, I guess.
I came across a bottle next. Why it was there, I have no idea. It was probably there from when I got thirsty and made a random purchase at some point but I wasn't aware there was still a bottle in there from one of these random purchases. Odd, right?
I found a few random coins in the bottom of my bag, including a couple of euros. Not sure where these came from, given that I've never even been to Europe. My local shop often gives out euros instead of pennies somehow though so undoubtedly I picked them up there.
So that's the contents of my old bag. Not very exciting, I know, and to be fair it's not a very big bag.
