I'm not exactly a big makeup wearer, as my other half will attest. But then he loves me regardless, and loves my skin!
~day to day~
I have a nice simple regeneration age resisting day and night creams I use occasionally, mainly because the day cream has a SPF, but to be honest my extra large tub of aqueous cream and bottle of boots sunblock do a lot more on my skin, plus maybe lip balm and on odd occasion lip gloss - but my other half says lip gloss feels slimey so usually only if Im going on a day function etc.
~event/night gear~
OK so I am not.... normal as my mother would put it. She cant talk but thats another matter all together. As I am a goth tendance (leaning to steampunk more) you can imagine I do have problems on occasions where family want me to be normal. Usually I ignore it, except from my Nan who I did make a pact not to wear 'death gear' as she calls it in her house.
Collection 2000 lasting perfection- SPF20 oil free- in Vanilla. Great little base that lasts as long as I need it too. I used to use mineral powders, but found they wore off on my nose making me look drunk.
As I started life with (as my Nan calls it) my fathers skin tones (basically any goth would be proud of it) as I grow older some of the menolin is coming up and I'm finding as well as ashen I am going slightly... well colour. As my light skin/skin change is due to genetic problems I'm fining the colour I need does darken as years go by. Funny enough my main genetic traits of pale skin is accompanied by high blood iron levels and I always get asked if I need to take Iron.... when in truth if I did I'd probably be rather ill.
Alabaster finishing powder - as I cant use white much anymore, I settle for something as pale as possible.
Some wierd blusher in a pinky biege that I dont use unless its to be 'normal' - Ive used it on its own on occasion to shut people off from asking me if I need Iron...
Bronze and black single eye shadow - I use a brush really carefully with the black and it can look like a soft liner, as well as using it to 'sink' or smoke my eyes.
Lipstick sealer- to make my lipstick last as long as my foundation....
2 lip liners, 1 in rose red, one in cranberry
6 lipsticks.... black, stargazer silver, plum, biege cream, fushia pink, hot pink.
I never seem to wear a single lipstick, I usually blend or layer for effect
also dont forget 2 sets of brushes, tweezers and a compact mirror and a padlock.... to keep my girls out!
Summary: well if you really want to know....
