Advantages: The possibility of giving my friends and family a better life

Disadvantages: Can cause greed and unhappyness!

For as long as I can remember I have always dreamt of winning the lottery, I even used to secretly hope that my parents would win it when I was under the legal age to actually purchase a ticket myself.

Neither my parents or I have been 100% financially comfortable, as a child I never went without, but now I look back I've realised how much my parents struggled to give us what we wanted, and have realised even more so now I have my own little boy. And I'm now the same, I'm constantly going without to buy nice things for my little boy, even though I know deep down he doesn't really need it.

If I was to ever win it there would be so many things I would want to do, but firstly I would pay off my parents and 2 sisters mortgages as well as finding myself somewhere nice to get me a fast track from the flat I'm sharing with my little boy. Also to pay my debts off once and for all would feel like a weight being lifted off my shoulders.

After paying all the mortgages, re-homing myself and paying off debts I would then make a donation to the Alzheimer's society as this is what my late grandmother had to suffer with for 10 years before her passing.

I would then book a family holiday to Florida, as I went with my older sister when I went and I'd like my parents and also my little boy to have the experience of Disney world.

Getting my driving licence is also a high up on my to do list. Then I think I would just constantly treat my friends and family to holidays, days out, meals and shopping sprees.

As I have said before in another of my discussions, I am not a greedy person, I would be happy winning just a small amount of money, just as long as I had enough to spoil my family. I would be a very happy person knowing that my son, nieces and nephews would ever have to go without.

I do know that not everything is about money, but I also know there is no way of getting by in this world without it. Some people say that money can be the cause of so much unhappiness, but it works both ways.

At the end of the day, the one thing money CANNOT buy is love, and im grateful to just have friends and family that i care about as do they with me (I hope lol).

Summary: Its never going to happen to me, but its nice to dream!!
