What would you do if you won the lottery?
Advantages: was fun thinking about this!
Disadvantages: now i'm sad because i most likely won't win haha
I don't really do the lottery that often, I bought a ticket on my 16th birthday and was lucky enough to win a tenner but only do it now if my mum randomly picks one up for me when there's some kind of roll over on. I do often think about what I'd do if I'd win the lottery though, (who doesn't?) and have a got little plan if I ever did. For this I will break in down to steps or I'd keep going until I'd spent it all!
First of all I would get my teeth whitened and get an expensive haircut as there's a chance I might be on TV and when I saw the last couple on TV who won they had yellow teeth and I was like right that's what I'd get sorted first then!
So serious things I would take care of first would be to buy my mum a small detached house (with room for myself and the 4 cats!) because I hate the flat we live in and she hates the noise there, it wouldn't be overly fancy just something nice and liveable. I would get a new small car too as my mums is always getting messed up somehow or another. I'd also get her a Kindle because she really wants one of them. I would like to do something for my Gran too, maybe a small house or actually buy the one that she's currently in. I'd need more time to think of what to do for my dad and his partner, probably a car or something? I'd do something for the whole of my family as it's quite small but I don't know what.
So now I've been nice to everyone it's time to get a bit self indulgent! To celebrate I would hire a big limo and get my main friends to come to London and go... SHOPPING of course! I'd buy something expensive for each of my friend (don't worry I don't have many haha) then I'd go crazy in Topshop and mental in Selfridges! I'd buy a few expensive brand things but staple pieces like shoes or a bag but nothing overboard as it wouldn't fit my life style. I'd then pay for a meal for us all somewhere and then we'd spend the next day in Thorpe Park with special access to all the rides first or maybe a weekend over in Disneyland Paris even haha!
So getting serious now I would pay for all my uni costs (extra expensive as I'll be in London!) so I wouldn't have to worry about them in the future and wouldn't have to depend on anyone else. I'd keep it really quiet though, don't need everyone asking to borrow money or buy their drinks!
Partly for Uni and what I'd get anyway would be a MacBook Pro laptop with everything I possibly could and the latest iPhone and accessories! These two would be the most important things I would buy and thinking about it I would probably buy these first because I have wanted them for so long.
I guess another sensible thing would be to start some driving lessons too, probably not buy a car until I'm out of University though and even then it wouldn't be anything special, as long as it works and has stereo I'm fine!
The last crazy thing I would do would be to GO TO DISNEYWORLD IN FLORIDA OMG, life long dream come true! I'd take some friends with me too of course especially since my friends have always been so generous and amazing to me! I'd also really love to check out the art galleries in New York at some point too and visit Pixar Studios (think that's Canada?)
After all these things I would save the rest for when I need to start looking for my own place really and generally save but I'd still get a job and it would come in helpful if I need to do work experience in London and needed somewhere to stay for a while.
Aww man writing this just reminded me just how poor I am and I actually may have to buy a lottery ticket for this Saturday now! ...even though I doubt I'll win anything.
There's apparently more chance of being struck by lightning whilst on your way to buying the ticket than actually having a winning ticket too.
Summary: If only!
