Fish are people too. No,that's stupid, fish are better than us. They forget, they don't bother with the pain, the torture, the emptiness inside (if only I could feel empty inside, at least then there'd be no pain, no thoughts of you....).

They are born, they mate, they die. They don't bother with all this relationship crap, all this hurt. They eat the smaller fish and are eaten by the bigger fish, they don't have any expectations, they know their place. They aren't fed ideas about how if they work hard enough they'll become a big fish, only to find that their hard work only serves to make the big fish bigger.

They know that if the big fish don't get them, they'll end up in some finger shaped meal. They aren't fed lies about how justice always prevails, they know that shit happens.

They know that if they're lucky enough to escape both the bigger fish and the nets that they'll continue to live out their lives in a faeces and rubbish filled mess, they aren't told that things are to get better or that it's all part of a divine plan.
