Advantages: Good for the businesses

Disadvantages: It's technically not real

Well, there have been several 'wars' between certain consoles in the same gernaration - Mega Drive + SNES, Game Gear + Game Boy, NES + Master System II, Sony PlayStation, 64 + Sega Saturn... But there never realy was a winner. If there had been, then I would say it would be SNES, Game Boy, Master System and PlayStation.

In reality there has only ever been losers. The only 2 'official' losers have been Saturn and Game Gear.

Well, everybody knows the Dreamcast, but where that comes in I've no idea. In the PS - 64 war? PS2 - X-Box - GC war?

Well I don't know so I'll leave that one out.

So the next upcoming console war will be between PS2, GameCube and X-Box. The PS2, as you all know (should know) is out already. The GameCube is the next to come in around October and then for a TBC date is the X-Box. Well, the power of the consoles goes in that order, from weakest to most powerful, although the GC makes up for that in it's bloody tiny size (a Game Boy Colour is taller).

So, I am not really bothered about all this war thing. I just think that there are no official winners and none of the 3 consoles will turn out like the Sega Saturn. But, good luck to you, you 3!
