HOW MANY TIMES A YEAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
It really depends if we have a big holiday that year or not. If we have a big holiday we will not take any smaller ones. Other wise we will take several small holidays throughout the year. On average i think we have 1 holiday abroad every 18 months or so.
FOR HOW LONG DO YOU GO AWAY?
Again it depends on where we are going. When we take a UK breaks its normally only for the weekend i.e a trip to LONDON. If we go on holiday in Europe we normally go for a week away. On trips to Disney world Florida or the USA we have to go for 2 weeks so we can get to see and do everything.
DO YOU STAY IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY OR ABROAD?
Both, but nowadays i do prefer to go abroad as i now have the taste for seeing new places, myself and children have learnt so much in our travels about other cultures and where in the world they are.
DO YOU ORGANISE YOUR HOLIDAY YOURSELF OR DO YOU GO TO A TRAVEL AGENTS?
If its in the UK i book things myself. If its going abroad i do everything through a Travel agent to be on the safe side.
DO YOU PREPARE YOUR HOLIDAYS IN ADVANCE BY READING GUIDE BOOKS ETC?
Oh yes especially if going abroad, i check out whats in the area and how to get around and so on. Also before booking to go away i look at a few reviews on the web.
DO YOU TRAVEL ALONE OR WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS?
Always Travel with my husband and children. On a few occasions my parents have come with us.
DO YOU PREFER SEA/MOUNTAINS/PLAINS, CITIES AS DESTINATIONS?
I prefer Cities really or areas with plenty to do for my family as i can't sit around for too long, i need to be busy.
DO YOU MAINLY RELAX OR ARE YOU AN ACTIVE HOLIDAYER?
I have to be active as i have 2 children who give me a run for my money and need to be keep amused. I hate sitting around for too long and need to be busy. I always plan holidays where i know there is plenty to do.
IF YOU GO ON ABROAD DO YOU LEARN AT LEAST SOME WORDS OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE?
Try to was never very good at it at school. I do like to try a bit of Spanish.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN THE CUSISINE OF A FOREIGN COUNTRY?
Not really but willing to try it out.
WHICH TRANSPORTATION DO YOU PREFER?
Planes, i just love flying.
WHAT KIND OF LUGGAGE DO YOU TAKE WITH YOU. HAVE YOU PROBLEMS PACKING. TOO FEW THINGS WITH YOU?
I always take plenty or too much, i am always prepared and list everything before i pack and tick things off, i never have any problems packing, always have a big enough suitcase or take an extra ones with us.
DO YOU SEND PICTURE POSTCARDS TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS?
Yes to close Family and to several close friends, especially those house sitting and pet sitting ;)
Summary: I love traveling and want to see more of the world.
