Advantages: Great team who play well despite all their set backs!!

Disadvantages: Small town team who've been through the rough but will rise again!!

Love these!!! People always laugh when I say that, especially living in Warrington....but I still believe if Widnes were given half the chance they'd be the top of the league...but Superleague teams are scared of us so they keep us down by bringing in stupid things like a French team who just randomly thought they'd join SuperLeague without working their way up, and poor Widnes lost their great players when we lost our SuperLeague title a few years ago!! :-(
But, despite this...on Boxing day this year....they BEAT SAINT HELENS....who are supposedly top of the league...hmmm........doesnt that tell us something...My hubby is a saints fan and his little excuses came out to play on that day "ohh wellllll erm erm we put the most rubbuish players out...wouldnt want to show you up too much"...yeah right!!!
The vikings have been a huge team in rugby for many many years!! They used to be THE team of rugby league...it was only when Sky Sports took over that they were no lkonger wanted....probably because we're a small town team!! But I think we're ace, and there are alot of other Widnes Fnas who think the same and I don't care what anyone says....
