Having recently returned from travelling in the 15th century I find myself asking: Is it right to burn witches? As we all know, in modern times it's considered unsociable, even illegal in some counties, to persecute those who practice the dark arts and burn them at the stake but legal issues aside is it really the incorrect thing to do? Consider the plight of the poor farmer who accidently invokes the ire of one of these witches?
