Well reading a few reviews in this category I have to put my fingers to keyboard . I am assuming the newspaper I have is a reasonable one and not a work of fiction .

If I could have tomorrows newspaper today I wouldn’t know were to start .I do know I would be in for the busiest day of my life .

Firstly I would look for every accident were someone appeared to be in the wrong place at the wrong time . Then enlisting everyone possible , and using all means available , I would stop that from happening . For example - Family burnt to death as drunken dad falls asleep holding a lighted cigarette .No booze and no fags for you then .Or pedestrian accidentally steps out in front of car . Oh no he doesn’t .

Looking at the births , marriages and deaths in the classifieds ( or hatch , match and dispatch as my Mum would say ) there would be work to do there . How would you tell someone tomorrow was their last day though . Difficult but many people would want the chance to tie up any loose ends and say their good-byes . True lots of people wouldn’t though . Then the ladies who would be giving birth . Wouldn’t they be well organised if they knew what time and day they would be having baby .

Now to help myself , friends and family .

Talk about insider information on trading at the stock exchange . Buy . Sell . Either way you could make a killing .

Gambling next . Early sports results , racing ones or the lottery numbers .What a fortune I’d make . The amount of bets you could place on sure things from who won X Factor to What the Christmas number one was are endless . Of course it all depends which days newspaper you get . Every days though would have some benefits for yourself or others .

The recent bird flu scare caused mayhem . Hindsight being a wonderful thing means a relevant newspaper could have helped there also .

What about the weather . From just knowing if it’s going to be wet and windy to if we are going to have a heat wave could be invaluable . On a serious note , what if you had had the newspapers with the Boxing day Tsunami horrors , the day before . The possibilities are endless .

A final one could be the ability to prevent crimes and people committing them . Someone walking home late who gets attacked could get vital advice in the nick of time so he wouldn‘t be walking home . Crime prevention would have a whole new meaning .Daring thieves stage million pound robbery of bank . Ah shame the police were inside waiting for them .

Granted you would need to be wearing your underwear over your trousers to be able to do all this but it’s only fantasy . Pity .
