Advantages: my top 10

Disadvantages: none

There are many games in the world that are about 50 times better than all of these games, however I only have a PC and N64 so I'm quite restricted. So, from the collection of games that I've played on here is my top 10.

=============================================
10.Championship Manager 3-PC
=============================================

The third Championship Manager and in my view the best. Although 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 have more functions and are more updated the third Championship Manager runs much more smoothly than the others. It puts you in the mind of a new football manager and allows you to choose from which country you want to manage and the league you want to be in (The Premiership, Division 1, etc.) Then you get to take over a team of your choice and this is where it really starts.
First of all you need to sort out your team, buying and selling players. Then after a few pre-season matches you start your battle to be top of your league. You are also put into the competitions for any of the cups, which are contested for, in your country and your team can also be put into the European cups; however, you need to finish in the top six for this. As the years progress, your team might start doing well, it doesn't matter if your Yeovil or Manchester United you could win the Champions league with them but this takes time. You can also take over your national team, this is if they're without a manager and they want you as their manager. They will only pick you though if you've done well with your original team. Overall I think this is a very good game but you need to be very patient otherwise you'll find yourself switching off the computer and breaking the disk after you've just lost 5-0 to Rushden and Diamonds and your Arsenal.

I put this in my list of top 10 greatest games because it is very rewarding if you do, do well.

9.Command an
d Conquer Red Alert- PC
=============================================

Red Alert is one of many Command and Conquer games but to me, my favourite. Choose from two different teams, The Allies or Soviet, and go through a series of missions each one a little bit harder as you start to progress through the game. Both of the teams have different advantages and disadvantages. The Allies advantages clearly their boats though you are restricted with tiny useless boats nearer the start of the game. The Allies disadvantages are that they have poor tanks and defence systems. Soviets advantages are their tanks and defence systems though you only get these things nearer the end of the game where they are needed. Soviets disadvantages are on the water. You are allowed to build submarines; these are useless innless they go in swarms of about 20. The missions on it are usually to destroy the enemy though sometimes you are asked to take over a certain building or kill a certain man. All of the missions are great fun and very satisfying when you complete it. Overall another great game.

I like this game because it is still fun after you've played on it for hours on end.

8.WWF Wrestlemania 2000- N64
=============================================

When this came out it was one of the best wrestling games ever. And I think it still is. Although it doesn't match up to games like Smackdown 2 and No Mercy its still a very good game. There are many different modes, the main one being career. This allows you to choose from any of the WWF superstars and go through the year doing a match each week. Your goal, to win as many belts as possible. You can also unlock hidden characters like the mighty Paul Bearer and HBK Shawn Michaels. The other modes are Exhibitions- Single or Multiplayer matches, go against the computer in a singles match or team up with a friend in a tag match. You also get to have
a steel cage match.
Royal Rumbles- Stay in the ring as long as possible while chucking other people out.
You also get a few other functions, which are also great fun. I've said it before and I'll say it again, overall a great game.

This is in at no.8 because I'm a fan of wrestling and it has a great selection of characters giving you hours of endless fun.

=============================================
7.1080 Snowboarding- N64
=============================================

One of the very few snowboarding games for the N64 and it has to be the best. It has nearly everything you'd want from a snowboarding game. There's a selection of boarders, boards, modes and levels. You can start off with some training letting you get use to the controls and then move on to the single player races, putting you against a different boarder and in different scenery each time you progress. Or you can try and just choose a level and try to get as many points as possible by doing tricks and getting to the end of the level as fast as possible. If you don't fancy either of them you could put your skills to the test against a friend. This game has great graphics, great music, it has to be, a great game.

I like this game because it has so many things to and the multiplayer is great fun.

=============================================
6.Grand Theft Auto- PC
=============================================

GTA is the first in a trilogy of GTA games. The others being GTA in London and GTA2. GTA, in my opinion, the best (I haven?t actually played on the other two). There?s only one mode on GTA- single player, this puts you into to the mind of a new and uprising criminal. Steal a car and start doing some missions earning you cash. Each time you get enough money you progress to the next level. You can also get money by other means, the main one being shooting and running over people, police and for
extra big amounts of money running over the Harry Krishna?s. However, if you are going to do these wild antics it will take you a very long time to get anywhere near the end of the level. GTA is very fun, the graphics are rubbish, this just adds to the originality and greatness of the game.

I like this game because of its originality.

=============================================
5.Zelda Ocarina of Time- N64
=============================================

One of the greatest games ever created for any computer. However, it can get extremely annoying when you're stuck at one of the millions and millions of bosses your put against in this amazing game. You are Link, child of a dead mother being brought up in a group of forest children. Collect weapons and you'll start to progress to bigger and much harder things. You are asked to find the tri-force before the evil Gandorf gets it and wreaks havoc on the world. You do this, however he already has wreaked havoc on the world and it's your daunting task to restore peace and happiness amongst what the world has become. An extremely good game, you'll be playing on it for years and years but when you get stuck, and you will get stuck in less your superhuman, you will put that game in amongst your other game and completely forget about it.

This comes in at no.5 for it lasts for so long.

=============================================
4.Donkey Kong 64- N64
=============================================

This N64 stunner has to be the best Donkey Kong game created. Start of with a few mini missions to let you get used to your controls then it all starts. With you island about to be destroyed you need to save the day. But, oh no, your buddies have all been captured. On your missions to save your island and your buddies who when you do save them, are also available to play with, you can also pick up bananas and find extra mini games along the way. Thi
s is great fun when you really get into it, however it doesn't stop there. After you've completed this you can go against a friend in a gruelling death match (hit or shoot your opponent till they fall over), or you can put your skill to the test in one of the mini games. This is a very fun game and I recommend it to anyone.

I think this game is good because it really fun.

=============================================
3.Jet Force Gemini- N64
=============================================

This is one of the best games ever created for the N64. The story line puts you into a group of hero's trying to save the universe from the grasp of the evil Mizar, who plans to take over by using his just as evil ants. However these are not one-centimetre long sqaushable ants, these are 6foot super sized beast. With a selection of guns, you'll find along the way, destroy these evil beings, rescue the tribals and eventually destroy Mizar and all he's left behind. However, the fun doesn't stop there, fight against a friend in a Multiplayer shoot em up.

I like this game because it is so rewarding if you get past a place you're stuck on.

=============================================
2.WWF No Mercy- N64
=============================================

In my opinion, the greatest wrestling game ever created. The great graphics, different modes simply blast away games like Wrestlemania 2000. The main mode being career, choose from any of the WWF belts, choose your character from the millions and millions of character up for grabs and fight your way towards the belt you chose. There are so many different modes for you to play against the computer or a mate. The best one probably being the ladder-match. You can also create your own character and there are secret people for you to unlock in career mode. However there is a draw back, for the earlier copies of No Mercy bought by the public, it sometime
s deletes everything you?ve done on it but this doesn't happen with the copies being sold now so go and buy it.

I think this game is good because there are so many things to do on it. It will last you ages.

=============================================
1. Perfect Dark- N64
=============================================

The best game ever made for the N64. It's that simple. Quite like Goldeneye but, much better. Your Joanna Dark in this single player or two player, if you want to do it with a friend, shoot em up. You are asked to do certain missions, in these missions, apart from killing the enemy, you have objectives to complete. This is one of the finest single players ever, with a massive range of guns, loads and loads of levels and some of the best graphics you'll get on the N64. However, it doesn't end there, no that's just the beginning, the multiplayer is the best multiplayer for the N64 no arguments! With so many different things to do it will bring endless amounts of fun for you and your friends.

I put this in at N0.1 because it has so many things to do. It has great graphics and it has a brilliant storyline. Overall a great game.

That's my top 10 games. If you like them that's good. If you don't go away.

Good opinion with some good choices, thankyou :)
I am also a Championship Manager fan too and tend to agree the older versions run a lot smoother/quicker.

Nednod - a very good op, but watch how you are rating other people. There have been two instances today where you have given atrocious ops VU (by BlackAngel)...this is generally treated with some suspicion, especially twice on one profile...just a thought. Make sure you rate honestly according to the site guidelines or otherwise it makes a complete mockery of having a rating system in the first place...added to the fact people might accuse you of reciprocal rating. V. good op indeed though :-)

Excellent. Couldn't agree more. Liked the fact that you named them in reverse - kept the surprise as you scrolled down. Never heard of Jet Force Gemini, but will check it out on your recommendation. Thanks.
