Had this machine for about 4 months now and so far well pleased.
It's fairly easy to install overall but you need to read the instruction manual which you can also find on Baumatic's website and is clearer to read there.
The door was easy to fit using the handy template provided to mark the screw positions. Found levelling the machine to be a bit fiddly but there is a
screw on the front to adjust the rear feet. Remember to fix the condensation strip before you get it into position though.
Cleans very well (as long as you remember to ensure the spray arm below the top rack is free to rotate), seems very well built and excellent value for money. Purchased online from Electro Centre (highly recommended) who delivered in 2 days (ordered on Friday night and it was delivered on Sunday afternoon, well impressed)
Some wash cycles are quite long as they were on two previous machines but not undulynoisy as some have mentioned. Also if you register the product within 14 days you get 5 years parts and 2 years labour free.
The baskets are a little sticky on their rollers but the top one does have an alternative height position which is easy to change.
The spacings in the dish rack of the lower basket are too close together and not user configurable. Tend to load dishes leaving a space free between them where necessary. It should really have been designed as an 8 place setting, not 12, or with the ability to configure the spacing yourself to suit your own dishes.
The holes in the 3 cutlery covers are too small and don't allow enough cutlery to be loaded so are best removed and not used at all.
Over the last 6 weeks we have had Baumatic out every week to repair this product. It continues to show an E3 error and they have changed a lot of parts. As a resolution they have offered a replacement on the proviso we pay £120 for it. To me it beggars belief that they can produce a clearly faulty device and then want to charge us extra on top of the £90 per visit maintenance charge and the extraordinarily long waiting times. BTW this is the current spate of breakdowns, earlier in the devices life it would breakdown at least 3 other times and Baumatic were so busy it would take them 2-3 weeks to turn up for repair. We have currently embarrassed them into arriving within 1 week. DO NOT BUY BAUMATIC anything, my kitchen is full of it and it is a constant battle for repair.
Wasn't any problem to plumb of fit our kitchen decor panel to it.
It fits out huge Ikea wine glasses and the tops from the kids plastic drink bottles.
The soap dispenser flap was damaged after it's first wash. Our fault I guess as we used the door to push in the upper basket (as we had always done on our 12 year old Bosch). So now we ALWAYS close up the flap after it's washed to make sure it's out of the way.
It only has 5 or maybe six wide places to stack bowls. We can not fit 8 large diner plates as the cutlery basket is so long it gets in the way. So we end up with a loaded upper basket and a half empty lower. With me back washing up a few plates again.
It doesn't seem to completely dry either and the cutlery basket always holds water somewhere.
On the plus side it was very good value, simple to operate and fits great.
We haven't used all the settings or the timer but we never did on our old one either
