Poor design (Baumatic BFD65W)

Although this is made by a good company, this model is clearly a blip in their otherwise good service. The internal layout is poor - large pans do not fit into the bottom tray and wine glasses only fit into the top if the rather silly dropdown system is put into place. This lessens the capacity of the lower tray. This means that you have a choice between dinner plates or wine glasses - no real design thinking here. The drying function is also lacking, so water drips onto clean plates when you take things from the top. My final complaint is that the machine sometimes fails to drain, so you have to reset the electronics to use it again. I have had much better dishwashing from bottom of the range Indesits. I thought by going for AEG, I would be buying an improved version. The price was attractive but maybe that should have served as a warning that the manufacturer was offloading a mistake.
