“ Semi-integrated, (drawerline) dishwasher with salt and rinse aid indicator lights, adjustable crockery racks and sliding cutlery baskets „
Working part-time as a member of the kitchen staff in a hotel, I previously struggled to keep up with the constant onslaught of plates, and pots and pans baraging me every ten minutes, having to scrub at them with my bare hands, which at times got a bit too much. Since the purchase of one of these machines a month ago, however, my task's effort has been minimised. All I need to do is pile it all into this thing after a quick rinse, and job done.
The clear advantages of this are it's speed, compared to doing it by hand - it is similar to competing products of the same price range.
Also, the result of each wash is pleasing - it is very rare that a cleaned product from it has to be re-washed. The dishwasher is of a reasonable size, so a decent amount of plates can be fitted in per wash as it has two layers, and the cutlery holder is always handy.
The slots for plates to be held are better than those the of the machine we have at home. It's easy to shut as it has a useful handle to reduce effort of slamming, and can fit easily into any kitchen suit, as well as being chrome, so will go well with kitchen styles.
So far, the machine has been very reliable with no problems, but seeing as we haven't had it long, I cannot really judge it's life span.
The only real disadvantage to this is it's initial cost, but with the hotel's huge daily turnover even just from food, I'm sure it wasn't too much of a dent in their funds - it isn't, however, particually an expensive machine compared to others in the market released at a similar time.
Overall, I would deffinetly reccomend this machine, whether as you're first model or as an update to an older model, as it's modern, fast, and gives a good-quality result with every wash.
