R+Miles Baumatic BFD65W: ... this is made by a good company, this model is clearly a blip in their otherwise good service. The internal layout is poor - large pans do not fit into the bottom tray and wine glasses only fit into the top if the rather silly dropdown system is put into place. This lessens the capacity of the lower tray. This means that you have a choice between dinner plates or wine glasses - no real design thinking here. ...

... this machine for about 4 months now and so far well pleased. It s fairly easy to install overall but you need to read the instruction manual which you can also find on Baumatic s website and is clearer to read there. The door was easy to fit using the handy template provided to mark the screw positions. Found levelling the machine to be a bit fiddly but there is a screw on the front to adjust the rear feet. Remember to fix the condensation strip before you get it into position though. PROS Cleans very well (as long as you remember to ensure the spray arm below the top rack is free to rotate), seems very well built and excellent value for money. Purchased online f...

... bought a Baumatic BDW15 in Aug 06 by jan 07 it developed an E4 fault. We have had the engineer repair it 3 times and still does not work. HQ service is appauling, and engineer is a rude, arragent person. HQ keep referring me back to the retailer, the retailer refer me back to B. I have wasted £350. Do not buy one these machines, avoid the hassle, pay a more for a hotpoint!...

... have recently bought a bdw15 dishwasher. Within two months, we experienced a "E4" error, ie the drain pump would not stop. Bad as it was to have problems so quickly after purchase, our experience was compounded by dreadful after sales service from the local baumatic office. As I write, we await even a return call from the service engineer! For those who think a call to Baumatic HQ would assist - forget it, they have a tendency to mysteriously drop calls! Must avoid is my advice....
