      Not good value for money

This dishwasher looks good and is cheaper than most other models available. However, it is cheap because is lacking in quality. It looks quite smart and is reasonably quiet but the most important feature, the quality of the wash, is poor. It often leaves a dirty looking film on the dishes or a lumpy residue, in particular on larger glasses. This is the case even after the salt and rinse aid have been fully topped up. A number of visitors have commented on the soapy taste left on our dishes when they have been cleaned in the machine. It does make me worry what we are taking in from all the chemicals. In addition to this, the build quality is also poor. The runners on the drawers broke within months of installing the machine and now every time we pull out the top level drawer, it falls off one or other of its runners and has to be refixed. In short, I would not recommend this machine. The savings made on the purchase price are lost when you have to put each load through twice to try and get it properly clean.

      Definately a quality washer

I have never owned a dishwasher before not even when I lived with my parents so washing up, drying and putting away has always been a daily chore. It wasn't till 3 years ago when I was pregnant we decided to take the plunge. We chose the Beko as it is a well-known brand and more importantly on offer as the Managers Special for £185. We took the dishwasher home with us there and then and once home there was little packaging to dispose of. Cardboard on the edges and plastic around the outside, which was all recyclable. It was very easy to set up the machine with following the instructions but if you're putting in a dishwasher in for the first time make sure you have a water source nearby. Once in place it fitted in with our white and black kitchen very well. Running costs aren't as high as I thought they would be, I've not noticed a rise in our electric by much at all. The costs include dishwasher salt, rinse aid and tablets. My weekly running costs for these 3 items are no more than £3.00. The draws in the dishwasher are sturdy and on good quality runners. I have never had an issue with them coming off the runners. There is plenty of room in this for cutlery and crockery. Two of the stacking grid at the back can be folded down allowing for saucepans and bigger bowls. There are numerous setting on the dishwasher - half load wash (just load the top tray for a wash, rinse, eco-wash, tougher wash, normal wash. We mainly use the normal wash which rinses, cleans and dry's. I am so pleased with this purchase it has saved so much time and effort with minimal cost. My only negative about this dishwasher (however I assume all are the same) is after a fair few washes the glasses go cloudy. I highly recommend this dishwasher on its performance, longevity and cost. Thumbs up from this household.

a compact dishwasher, quite energy efficient

In my workplace, we have a lot of staff and the kitchen can get very messy so it is lucky that we have a good, reliable dishwasher to keep on top of the dishes that are left at the end of the day. The model we have is this Beko DWD5411 in white, it is a good brand and it does a good job at cleaning the dishes, I am not always one for using a dishwasher but in an environment like this where so many dishes are piled up, this makes life so much easier as it is full every single day. Beko are well know for kitchen appliances and this model has enough features which make it a good buy, it comes in both silver or white but the white seems a bit more classic. APPEARANCE This dishwasher has a nice simple design to it, it is white in colour and on the top left has the Beko logo and the knob for setting the wash. It also has all of the buttons and light notifications on the top as well as a numerical explanation of what each choice will do and to the right is the on/off button. Under the top panel you push on the top of the door and then pull it down and inside is where all the dishes and cutlery go, there is the top drawer which pulls out and is mainly for bowls, cups, glasses and then the bottom section has room for cutlery, plates etc. The measurements of this dishwasher are 85cm (H) x 60cm (W) x 75 (D). BEKO DWD5411 To start with, this dishwasher has a lot of good points about it, it has 5 programmes and 4 wash settings and it has 12 place settings and indicator lights for each of the programmes. It has an 'A' Cleaning Performance and Drying Performance, it also has a stainless steel interior and floor protection. There is an adjustable rinse aid dosage and hot air drying system and it comes with a removable cutlery basket and the height on the adjustable cup racks on upper basket can be adjusted. Not just listing of all of the features though, it also has a maximum plate height on the lower basket of 31cm diameter and on the upper basket it is 25cm. Loading this dishwasher is easy and so is unloading it really, the removable cutlery basket is great when you want to take everything out without fiddling around and it is good for cleaning. The different programmes on this dishwasher are Pre-Wash which as no heat and lasts 15 minutes, there is then Rapid which is 35 degrees and is a 30 minute wash. Next is Economy at 50 degrees which lasts 146 minutes and Quick and Clean which runs at 60 degrees and goes on for 58 minutes and then lastly there is Intensive at 70 degree which goes on for 115 minutes. I vary the washes depending on what dishes are going in but usually I'll use Quick and Clean. This dishwasher has 4 height adjustable feet and isn't too loud when it runs as well as I can barely hear it. The upper basket has folding racks and salt and rinse aid indicators. The lower rack has folding plate supports and to set the dishwasher to a certain setting you just need to turn the knob as it is numbered 1 to 5 and then it will run. You have light indicators to show the progress of the wash it starts at On/Off then will go to Wash, Dry and then End so it is easy to keep track of the progress of the wash. In terms of power this dishwasher has a water consumption of 15(L) and an Energy Consumption of 307kWh per stand and cycle. I will always make sure this is full loaded when it runs and always adjust heights and make sure everything is sat in and add in my dishwasher cleaner. Once it is on, I usually leave it to run and find that when I open it and all of the steam goes, it smells fresh and all of my dishes are clean. There will always be the odd dishes that don't clean first time so may need to go in a second time but I haven't had any major problems with this model yet. I feel there is a good enough choice of cycles to choose from on this and the cleaning power is always pretty good too. It is easy to load, it is like most dishwashers in its layout so nothing too difficult to grasp. This is a great dishwasher, very reliable and the fact it is quiet and doesn't run too long is helpful as well and I don't find it has any real problems. You just need to make sure that everything is placed securely in this when it is time to load it. Having read lots of customer reviews on this product, it always gets a very good write up, I'd now buy Beko for my home after having gotten so used to this one at work, it is just so easy to switch on and run and it cleans so well usually the first time that I don't need to worry about putting it on again afterwards. This is ideal for any household as it holds a lot of dishes inside and it a standard sized dishwasher. COST This dishwasher can be purchased from eBay where it will cost anything from £45 upwards depending on who is selling it as it is an older model now but you will find it if you look around. The official Beko website is http://www.beko.co.uk/.

        Cleans great

This Beko DWD5411 Full Size Dishwasher only cost £200 It's triple A rated surprising for an appliance that costs so little. It takes a lot of dishes glasses and mugs to fill this up there is even room for larger and pans. It has an adjustable top basket and 4 fordable plate racks. The fact that they are fordable means that if you have a huge ham pot for example this wouldn't fit into a dishwasher with non folding racks. Just push them flat and the biggest pots can fit right in. It has a 12 place capacity, this is more than enough. There is a handy 30 minute quick wash programme if you don't have time for the full wash program. There is also an economy setting where the dishes wash at a lower temperature. There's a Salt refill indicator light on the front with a Rinse aid refill indicator also beside it. It uses a hot air drying system and if you take the plates out straight after wash they can be quite hot. There is also a plastic cutlery holder for your knives and forks. The recommend you put the knives in blade down for obvious reasons. The size of the unit is - Size H85, W59.8, D59.8cm. And the water consumption is 15litres per cycle. The most important thing of course is that the dishes and glasses come out clean. I think this is a great dishwasher for a great price.

Super Bargain well worth the price.

Beko DWD 5411 Dishwasher. Just before Christmas three large items in the kitchen broke down within a week one of them being our hotpoint dishwasher. As Christmas was approaching plus the fact that I was about to leave the country for a couple of weeks we had to rush out and buy an oven, Hob unit ( Already reviewed) and a dishwasher otherwise Christmas would have been a pretty dismal affair. As things were a bit tight I chose the Beko DWD 5411 which was available for immediate delivery which was very handy indeed. The Beko DWD 5411 dishwasher is a full size dishwasher able to take 12 place settings. It is rated at a grade A in terms of Efficiency and economy through the A-G grading ratings which particularly ticked the box for me due to the ever increasing energy bills. What does it look like? The machine is white with a front loading panel that pulls down quite smoothly. At the top of the door there are the controls. One round dial knob that you set to the wash cycle you want to use. An on off button. Another set of buttons to start the machines cycle and two indicator lights one for the salt reservoir and one for the rinse aid reservoir. The front of the machine is slightly contoured giving it a pleasing aesthetic look. So what features does it have? It has five washing programmes including a quick wash setting. Four different water temperatures including one at 70 degrees and the economy wash at 60 degrees. It uses 15 litres of water per cycle. A cutlery tray with handle. A lower and upper adjustable load trays. It has salt and rinse aid indicator lights which are very useful especially as I used to forget to refill both on the old machine. When one is lit of the indicator lights are lit the washing cycle will not work. So how does it perform? The dishwasher can be loaded for a full 12 place setting or used on an economy wash for a quick fast wash although on the fast wash not all the contents are 100% dry when the cycle is finished. One of the best features is that it is practically silent and although I cannot hear it if I put my ear to the dishwasher I can feel the vibration and water filling. Although there are indicator lights on it as it is so silent I like to know it is actually working. Sometimes pressing the start button has not always started the machine as you need to hold it for 3 seconds whereas with our old machine you just pressed the button and off it whirled and was considerably noisier! We have found that the contents are well washed and nicely dried once the cycle has finished with no streaking on the glasses or plates. As we currently have a five people in our household we find that we only have to put the machine on once a day in normal use. Where it comes into its own is when you are entertaining it certainly cuts the work load clearing up after a dinner party or other such occasion. We can do two loads before going to bed then the house is back to normal without all the palaver of having to wash mounds of dishes, plates, cutlery and glassware. What I don't like. The lower tray is on wheels and you need to get it just in the right position to stop it rolling back in as you are trying to load the tray. Although this is only a minor irritation you soon get the hang of where to site the tray to prevent this but if someone else is giving a hand loading they tend to knock it and off it flies back into the machine. What I do like! It is fast. Economical and cost effective. Silent. The load trays can be configured to hold awkward items such as large bowls or pots by pressing down the plate prongs. This gives a flatter more open surface on which to load the machine. The price. I paid £220 pounds for this machine and although I was a bit dubious of the brand I thought well needs must and we will see how it performs bearing in mind it comes with a one year guarantee and if it is not fit for purpose like leaving the items dirty or does not perform satisfactorily I would have it exchanged for something of another brand after Christmas. However I am very pleased to say that so far we are very satisfied with this machine and optimistically hope that it will serve us ten years like the old machine did. If it does then this certainly is a bargain dishwasher. Would I recommend it? Yes I would as I am quite impressed at its ability to clean the dishes economically and quickly and would highly recommend this product. Do not be put off by the price I am very satisfied with its overall performance and the way it looks and finally by its very reasonable price. In summary it is definitely worth five Dooyoo stars.

Great product I personally would not go back to the trusted bowl...

'The wash with a sparkle' =====Introduction====== I have chosen to write in a slightly more concise review style to experiment with what is popular and what isn't, if you have any suggestions please feel free to mention them - it would be appreciated hugely! I bought this rather inexpensive dishwasher due to several recommendations from friends and families, not in particular recommendations for this product; rather suggestions that I needn't spend an hour doing the washing up each evening. I could simply let a machine do it for me... ===== Worries ===== If you are like me you tend to worry quite a bit before you part with your cash, especially when it is a quantity of cash in the three digits. In particular I had quite a few worries about the cost and reliability of the product as I noticed it was far cheaper than alternatives - some of my worries included: *would it be too expensive to run (similar to a tumble drier) *it would not last long *it would ruin certain cups, plates and dishes *it surely couldn't keep its sparkle after fifty washes? =====my experience ===== Like most of the products I end up purchasing there really was no need to worry. When the product turned up it was easy to set up and looked acceptable, arguably not as aesthetically pleasing as others, however for the price I was not too fused. After a few loads (i.e. a whole dinner set, I tend to wait and fill the dishwasher up to the top; to save energy, to save my precious and rather expensive Finish tablets and most importantly save me time and effort) the dish washer was still performing brilliantly, I was indeed happy. Since that first use I have encountered no problems and the quality hasn't faltered since and therefore I can recommend on behalf of the quality and the reliability. =====Overall verdict===== Retrospectively I would argue it is £230 well spent: it saves you time, effort, money and the environment (it is apparently more ecologically friendly to use a dishwasher rather than washing up - however I find this hard to believe) I absolutely love my dishwasher it is one appliance in my house that I would not live without, and I can honestly say I am so happy I decided to follow the advice. After all these machines were invented to help people like me and you... So why on earth would you want to sit at home next to the sink washing up, when you can be out while a machine does it all for you? It is important to note some items do not fit in this dishwasher (i.e. very large wine glasses, however the majority do) and other items cannot be placed in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can damage the material (I think this is only relevant for more expensive items, not your £2.50 Wilkinson's plates!) Positive: Relatively cheap, reliable and good quality product Negative: Not as 'pretty' as the other dishwashers in its class... Thank you very much for reading I hope this more concise review has still be useful! This review may be used on my other review websites :) Please feel free to have a look BazzaBoyT

          good dish washer, reliable

Okay I have had this dishwasher for sometime now, previously I had an integrated dishwasher at another house. I went for the Beko dishwasher because it seemed one of the cheaper ones available. There are 2 adults and 2 small children using dishes in this house so it is used daily. I only over use supermarket own brand dish washer tablets, salt and rinse aid. I mainly use the economy wash and the dishes always come out clean, I have occasionally used the higher temperature washes and again the dishes come out clean. The tray is easy enough to load and it doesn't fall off the runners when loading ( something I have experienced with other dish washers). The dishwasher cools down in good time and is easy to stop mid cycle. All the functions are easy to use and I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone. The only thing that would make this dishwasher better would be a time display telling me when the dishwasher was going to finish - but to get this facility you'd have to pay more. I am very happy with this dish washer.

          Great for the price

This is the only dishwasher I've ever owned, and so I can't really compare it to other, more expensive dishwashers - except I suppose I can, as I can't imagine a more expensive dishwasher would do anything that this one doesn't do. I've had it for two months or so now, and in all that time I've never had to put it on twice to wash the same things - everything has always come up spick and span the first time around, which I've heard is somewhat rare in any kind of dishwasher. It's easy to use, and fast, and the trays are well-designed, so that you can make the most of the space you've got, and even when I cram in more plates and stuff than seems to be wise, the dishwasher has always been able to handle it. If you're after a cheap dishwasher, I really would highly recommend this one.

After three years of use the particular machine is very reliable. Very good purchase

I purchased this model of Beko dishwasher over three years ago now, I use it for a full load every day, I only use the cheapest supermarket tablets, salt and rinse aid. I have never had any trouble with this dishwasher, I was a bit bothered with it been a make i had not heard of before but after three years of problem free use I would recomend this dishwasher to anyone. The mechanics on this particular dishwasher have never given me any trouble, it is also a very quiet dishwasher, i would say no louder than any other dishwasher i have ever heard. The dishwasher is of a standard size and will fit into a standard 600mm space in your kitchen, the appliance is white and for plumbing all u need is cold water fill and a standard waste pipe fitting. The appiance is very easy to use, u dont really need to read the manual its all very straight forward. I thoroughly recommend this dishwasher.

Highly recommended and great value for money.

We purchased this Dishwasher because we have always been very pleased with Beko products in the past. It has not disappointed and is fantastic - really pleased with our decision. It fits very nicely into our kitchen and looks more expensive than it is. It is deceptively spacious inside and is very well designed. The bottom shelf holds a large amount of plates or can be changed to take larger objects if desired. We have found it perfect for us as a family of four. The washing programmes are very easy to understand and I find the economy wash very quick and effective. It is very quiet when running - in fact, it is so quiet that I often have to check that I actually turned it on. The salt and rinse aid indicators are very handy as well. To sum up, I would highly recommend this dishwasher - I honestly cannot think of a bad word to say about it.

              Very good dishwasher

I've had this dishwasher for quite a while now and I am very pleased with it. Since it has a very low price for a dishwasher, I didn't expect much from it. I'm really glad I bought it because it exceeded my expectations and for such a low price I couldn't ask for anything more. I've never had problem with it, the dishes always get clean, even pots and pans. My previous dishwasher cost twice as much and quite often couldn't do what it was supposed to, sometimes I had to wash one load of dishes three times before they were clean. Never had this issue with Beko DWD5411. This is why I really recommend it, it does what it's supposed to and proves that cheaper appliances can also be good and reliable. If you just keep in mind that expensive doesn't necessarily mean better quality and decide to buy this dishwasher I believe you'll be happy with the results.

Whistles whilst it works, but a bit of noise is worth hearing for the overall quality of this washer

Ididdoo: Skip to the point you need info on, or go all out! Enjoy! ...INTRODUCTION... The Beko DWD5411 is a full size dishwasher and is the fastest dishwasher I've ever owned. It sure beats washing the dishes after you've spent hours cooking and minutes eating. Unfortunately you still have to unload it afterward (they still haven't figured a way around that yet!) but its a dishwasher that is quite powerful and astute at cleaning dirty dishes. ...FEATURES.... 12 of the best The DWD4311W has 12 settings for cleaning your dishes. But to be honest, I only ever regularly use 2 of them, and have never used option 4 to 12. So the main question is, how good are those 3 options that are used all time? Well, one of them is a very effective "fast" clean option, a quick wash that is able to purposefully clean a small load of dishes in 30 minutes. The main setting used is very efficient (as suggested by its AAA energy efficiency rating), again being able to clean most stains off with a minimal energy usage. This is evident from the well laid out electrical control panel on the front of the washer, which has easy translatable indicator lights (if you're planning on buying your first dishwasher, easy-to-read on-face instructions help you do even the most complicated washes in no time) Basic but Bright If I'm honest I studied the tech specs of this dishwasher to judge if I wanted it or not, not its visual appeal. Tucked under the work top in the corner of my kitchen, its face is pleasant enough to not stand out like a sore thumb. So whilst flat in design like the back of the bus (I prefer smooth curved designs generally), it doesn't necessarily evoke the same connotations. But don't worry - the DWD5411 is much more reliable than the buses! My friend owns one and its dependability has been unquestioned since he bought it, and so far, so has mine. Size A good feature that was a pleasant addition from my older dishwasher is the adjustable stacks for all manor of dishware. My older dishwasher struggled to accommodate my bulkier/odd cookware on those nights were egg and chips just wouldn't do for Dinner. This one however works wonders. If it doesn't fit, work it out, and it'll probably fit in different adjustment of the stacks. This novelty wares off after a while however, as bending over a dishwasher yanking and shoving stacks in some sort of poor-mans rubiks cube game gets very annoying very quick. SO before long you soon resort back to using the standard configuration. So how well does this configuration accommodate dishware? Well, in a pretty average way to be honest. Plates fine. Medium sized Pans Fine. Woks...uh-oh. I guess thats the burden of most medium-to-large sized (60cm wide) dishwashers. And this one is no exception. Noise Yup, pretty noisy. But in a strangely therapeutic sort of way. It is quite loud, but its not a distinct noise - not the kind that makes you want to leave the kitchen. In fact, when i throw it on (usually late at night before I go bed), its quite a welcoming sound when you go into the moonlit kitchen to let the dog out the back door. Alright, I failed in trying to romanticism a dishwasher, but its definitely a bearable sound. A mean clean? The most important part of the dishwasher is of course how well it cleans. This is a combination of factors, what dishwasher powder/tablet you use, how dirty the dishes are etc, but the main thing is how good the dishwasher is at doing its job. And this one is very good. Case in point was a family get together eating lots of spaghetti bolognese, followed by lots of drinking, then hours later someone remember to clean the dishes. Worked in stains could have been a tough task for some dishwashers, but this one made easy work of tough stuff. As it does alot of the time. One downside is the time it takes to cool down after cleaning. But I've always put the load on to clean before bed, and woke up in the morning with the dishwasher ready to unload before work - so its never really be a big issue. Maintenance So far, not the one quarrel since I've bought it. The door closes snugly, and doesn't waiver, and the washes are as strong as ever - even after a vigorous family schedule with all sorts of meals. Summary All round good dishwasher
