Bosch SGS43C12GB

I bought one of these to replace a old Hotpoint dishwasher which was about 20 years old. I'm a little disapointed in it because I was hoping for something a lot quieter. It's a basic machine with a electronic controller. It works fine and is well built. The trays are well set out and slide in and out easily. The door opens and closes smoothly. But despite this I think I prefered my old rusty dishwasher.
The main disadvantage of the electronic controller is the lack of any indication about how much time is remaining for the wash. With the old mechanical controllers you can see by the dial how things are progressing. The connecting pipe for attaching to the mains water supply looks very flimsey, It looks like it might fail after a while so I did not use it.
