The interior cabinet is all shiny metal, smooth and no ridges for any food particles to catch on, the door rim stays fairly clean, just needs sponging round after each use. Our old built-in dishwasher that came with the house finally gave up and needed a new timer that would have cost almost a third of the price of a new machine plus the labour cost of fitting it; so off we went to John Lewis our favourite store for household appliances.
