I bought this Bosch dishwasher approximately 4 months ago for the bargain price of £499.99 and it is one of the best kitchen appliances I have ever purchased. I really do not know how I managed without it.

I live on my own in an apartment complex, one of those modern ones that you see by the Thames, I don't have a partner but I do work very hard, I guess you could call me one of those career girls. I love my job and I love what I do and when I get home in an evening the last thing I want to be doing is washing up my breakfast bowl from the morning or my dinner dishes either, so this dishwasher was just what I needed.

I bought it on recommendation from a work colleague of mine who likes to host a lot of dinner parties and as I sometimes entertain people with similar events I thought I should invest wisely. This Bosch dishwasher is Energy efficiency Rating A so it doesn't use up a lot of valuable energy and it also has a noise rating A which essentially means it is very quiet, whenever mine is washing and drying my dinner service I definitely do not hear it and both of those are rated A which means they are the best you can get.
Some of the technical details of this dishwasher is that it has variable cleaning temperatures of: 0 / 45 / 50 / 55-65 / 65-75 °C and whenever I am using it I tend to use 55-65 which is the auto clean programme temperature should I set my machine to do this and if most of my glassware goes into it then I opt for a much lower temperature as the last thing I want to do is shatter the glass. To explain the temperature options a little more the programme settings are as follows:

* Quick wash 45°C
* Economy 50°C
* Auto 55°C
* Auto 65°C
* Intensive 70°C

Now with the auto clean programme setting I can literally set my dishwasher to clean my items as and when I want it to by selecting this feature and there is also a start delay button. This machine is fully electronic and has uses LED controls to let you know the status of the wash, how long is left on the wash and there is a programme end button which lets you know it has finished. There is also a Salt refill indicator and a rinse aid indicator on fascia which flash when they need to be re-filled.

Inside the machine itself, it is quite spacious which one of the initial reasons I purchased it and the racks in which you place your dinner plates and so on is height adjustable, so if your crockery is a little larger than expected you can adjust the racks so they fit into place. There is also a foldable plate racks in the top and bottom baskets on on these you can fit 6 plates in the upper basket and 4 in the lower one and there is also a Knife rack in upper basket and a 2 piece cutlery basket within which you can fit quite a lot of cutlery

Having used this machine for the last 4 months I can honestly say that it is brilliant, it washes and dries my dinner service brilliantly, none of my glassware is scratched and nor has anything been broken or damaged whilst being washed and dried within this machine, there is also the added advantage of the pre-rinse programme too, if you have let food dry on the plates and it is a little difficult to get off you can use this programme first, or I use it when I am having a dinner party and I've not used my dinner service for a while to ensure it is really clean without having to put it through an entire wash.

It is easy to use and comes with an easy to read instruction manual and makes very little noise and I definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a nice dishwasher with a large capacity load.
