Product is fine as long as it works. When ours stopped it took five days for a engineer to come out who failed to fix it and told us it would be another 8 days to come back out again. You dont pay for quality to be given a substandard service. No more bosch for us im afraid.

      A very good dishwasher

A good dishwasher is a necessity in any kitchen. Yes it is a luxury as we could always wash up the old fashioned way buy why do that when you can have a machine do it for you. I understand of course that not everyone has the room nor the money for one of these. This dishwasher is by Bosch not a name I would be very aware of but still it so far has worked well and I have no qualms in recommending this kitchen appliance.

It's the results that count when it comes to a good dishwasher and the glasses come out sparkling (we use Finnish power ball Tabs and of course the quality and cleaning power of the tabs will make a huge difference in the end result of your cleaned dishes and cutlery). There is no dried food between the prongs of our forks like there was on our old dishwasher. I don't have to rinse off lightly spoiled plates or pots. There can be very stubborn foods like a dried on porridge pot or cabbage pot and in those cases I do rinse them before hand as they have come out with the odd little hard as a rock speck here and there in the past.

This dishwasher takes a large amount of dishes, pots and the like. It is surprising how much I can fit into it if I pack it properly. It is extremely easy to load, there are plenty of racks for different sized plates and I like to place my cups and glasses on the top rack as they sit more comfortably up there I find. The large plate racks on the bottom shelf fold down. This is great if I have an extra large pot to clean or a large serving dish that otherwise would not fit into the dishwasher. Such large items will need to go on the bottom rack because the top rack has less room for such things seeing it is so close to the top of the dishwasher. It has a twelve plate setting according to my mum, all I know is we regularly fill it to the brim and need to leave some dishes in the sink until the wash has finished then pop them in and leave it until it fills up again.

One annoying thing is some cups have dips in their tops had the water does tend to sit in these so I do have to use some kitchen roll to dry their tops before lifting them out. If I don't do this the water will spill down on to the bottom rack and wet the dishes. Even if I remove the dishes for the bottom first, by moving the cups they themselves will get wetter than they need to. This is of course the design of the cups fault but most cups and some glasses will have this indentation on the bottom so it is worth mentioning. I wish they could blast it with hot air before I open it to evaporate these irritating puddles of water.

Another bit of information from my mother is that this is an A rated dishwasher. There ate different settings on this washer from a cold rinse, to the hottest setting to remove stubborn stains all the way down to an Eco friendly setting that washes at a lower temperature. This dishwasher looks great and unlike most it has a sturdy easy to grip handle on the door.

As I said it works great, looks great and I should add it makes very little no ice compared to our previous model the only sounds I hear are the water swishing, the tab dropping, the water draining and occasionally the odd clink and clank of a spoon or fork moving.

      Great product

We have had this dishwasher for over two and a half years now and it has proven to be a reliable work horse that gets plenty of use, even more so in the last 12 months after another hungry mouth to feed joined the myself and my other half. At the time of purchase I can remmeber spending over £300 on this dishwasher from Bosch but I cannot remember the exact amount, it was certainly not the cheapest in the shop (Curry's I think) but it was in the mid range when it came to price and certainly within our budget.

I cannot fault the cleaning quality and also it is not overly noisy compared with a previous dishwasher that we owned. It has tackled and defeated some pretty stubborn food stains in its time and I certainly cannot fault the cleaning of dishes and pans and it is good also with glasses. One of the things I find really easy is when it comes to loading the dishwasher. This is aided by the fact that the plate racks on the bottom shelf can fold down so if you are storing large pans you do not have to wedge them in. This also helps protect the plate support from becomming distorted and bent by heavy items and when you want to stack plates they fold up easily and securily to allow you to stack them safely.

The dishwasher comes with an A efficiency rating so it is economical to use especially when it is fully loaded. It can handle a 12 place setting load which is plenty big enough for our family and there is a seperate cutlery container and lots of space on the upper shelf for cups and glasses as well as small plates and bowls.

Style wise it looks great, ours is white with a stainless steel interior, a black control panel and a nice solid steel handle that is easy to grip to open the washer. It has five wash cycles, everything from an eco programme to an intense stain removal one, I have found that the standard daily setting is perfectly good enough however I have used the intense one a couple of times and you do notice a difference when it comes to pans that have heavy food marks or grease on them.

It has an anti flood safety device fitted although thankfully I have never had to see this in action as it has worked faultlessly for me over the time we have had it, also it is pretty easy to keep cleana nd very easy to operate. Overall a great purchase from a brand that you can rely upon.

Great buy for lazy people who don't like washing!!

Our family got the Bosch SGV53E33GB after our old dishwasher broke down on us and more logical to buy a brand new appliance rather than repairing the old one. Although our old dishwasher washed all of our dishes and pans etc. it occupationally left them with blurred stains which couldn't be returned to their original shine we did however, live with this as were all too lazy to hand wash and dry.

One thing we first noticed with the Bosch SGV53E33GB is that it did not stain the glasses with blurriness and always returned them to their full shine! This meant that we could remain lazy and use the dishwasher and still have perfectly shiny glasses!

The Bosch's settings are great to use for all different washes from quick rinses for glasses to more intense washes for more dirtier pans and plates. This we found useful as it meant we could control the amount of water we were using or wasting which meant it could in turn save us money!

The price of this dishwasher was reasonable of its type and definitely worth the money because of its efficiency and reliability as well as its settings.

Can't really fault such an amazing product!

Me and my wife always said that the kids would be washing and drying the pots when they were old enough but for now we have purchased the Bosch SGV53E33GB from Currys for a reasonably priced £349.99. The first thing we noticed however that there was less space than we saw in the picture. However this isn't too much of a problem although we have had to use two washes in the past.

The Bosch has 5 settings which is good for those pots that need a slower clean and amazing for when you need to give something a quick rinse, especially if the pots have been inside of a cupboard gathering dust. I especially like that there is hardly any movement inside the dishwasher which is good because out previous dishwasher we lost two of our finest plates.

I will give you a warning though. The Bosch pauses before giving a final rinse and you might just think during that pause that the dishwasher has finished its cycle. Well you'd be wrong, and you get sprayed in the face by water. My wife was not happy!

      Great for an easy life

I recently spent a week staying at a relative's house, so that I could look after things for her while she was away. With not having a dishwasher of my own at home, I was able to really appreciate how much hers made life easier! I really liked the modern metallic silver style of this dishwasher, and think that it would go in well with most kitchens.

I was able to pick up how to use the dishwasher really quickly as it is very straightforward and easy to use. The dishwasher in my opinion is also really well designed as the storage space inside is structured in a way that allows you to get as many dishes in as possible. The plate racks on the bottom shelf are foldable, and there is also a handy cutlery rack. The dishwasher is also a good size, which again allows for room for washing plenty of dishes.

The dishes cleaned well with the usual supermarket brand dishwasher tablets, and the dishes also came out nice and dry. (It was a shock to the system going home and having to do both by hand again!) There were 4 temperature settings that you could use depending on the cleaning need of the dishes, ranging from 70 degrees to 45.

Since leaving this dishwasher behind I have been trying to work out where I would be able to fit one in my own house, as it really is nice being able to get large quantities of dishes washed so well and so quickly and easily. This machine also doesn't make too much noise which is great. I have been trying to price up the cost of this dishwasher and it looks like it is available in the region of £300. My friend said that she has had hers for about 6 months and had no faults with it at all in that time. Based on that and my experience using it, I would say that this product is excellent value for money.

        Great device

Personally, I never saw the point of dishwashers before - it felt like an expensive and lazy machine to have in your possession. It turns out I was wrong, as owning a dishwasher can be an incredibly time-saving thing and this particular make is one of the best ways to go about it.

What always gets me about big machinery like this is that they can sometimes come too large and make far too much noise. Clearly, this being a dishwasher, it was always going to be a large machine or it simply wouldn't be very useful at all, but the noise on this machine is very low, which is a huge bonus for me as it can be very annoying when a dishwasher or washing machine is heard making a giant din from the other end of your house. The largeness of the machine is also no problem as you can fit a heck of a lot of plates, cups etc into it. It certainly looks good, too; something can perform well but if it doesn't look modern and stylish it can be a detriment to the look of your house. Fortunately this one is easy on the eye.

The dishwasher itself works very well indeed. Obviously not all dishwashers can eradicate all dirt 100% of the time, and this one follows that pattern, but this one comes pretty close anyway. I'm not sure how increasingly inefficient it may become over time - we haven't owned this for long in our household - but right now it does its job extremely well. Its speed is good too - if you manage to fill the machine up, the amount of stuff in there would take far longer to wash by hand.

This dishwasher is definitely an expensive product, but then again I'm no expert, and there don't appear to be many dishwashers that you can find cheap anyway. At least I can't say you won't be paying needlessly - this is certainly a reliable machine, and one with which I've yet to encounter any faults, apart from the very minor one (and one which is typical of all dishwashers) aforementioned. If you can find this for a good price - apparently around £350 is its best price at the moment, which is admittedly a bit steep - then I definitely recommend the purchase.

          I would recommend this product

I am not usually one to do a lot of cleaning (usually leave that to my mum!) but I have to admit, I do not mind washing dishes or cleaning up after eating, so I was a little weary to discover getting a dishwasher, especially as they are not the cheapest appliances!
Luckily, we managed to get this dishwasher fairly cheap compared to some prices advertised, and I have to say I have been fairly impressed with this dishwasher. It is a good size so a lot of dishes and cutlery can be fitted in to it. It does not make a lot of noise so it is not a nuisance, and it is fairly quick at its job, so I would say it certainly is functional.
We have not had the dishwasher for long, but so far so good, so reliability wise I can't complain.

I would definitely recommend this product. If I was to be awkward and find a downside to it, it would probably be on the OCCASIONAL time, I have got a plate or glass and it still have a little dirt on it, but usually it cleans pretty well, so I wouldn't highlight this as a major flaw, only if you are being picky.

Overall, I think this is a good product that saves a lot of time!

          a great dishwasher, recommended

This is only a short review on our dishwasher, I've tried to keep it short so that you can just take out all the information you want.

          Bosch SGV53E33GB

We've had this dishwasher in our family home for about five or six months now. I've wanted to review it since we got it but I thought the review would be a bit more accurate if I waited first to see how durable it was.
Bosch is usually a reliable make and this dishwasher has so far lived up to the standards we expect from a reliable make.
After our ever-faulty old one finally broke down after a good few years of looking like it might do at any minute, we decided we would treat ourselves to a brand new one that was a bit more durable.
Oh, by the way, if you're looking for technical terms you won't find any here! I'm no appliances expert so all I can comment on is how good the dishwasher has been for my family and there will be no expert advice here I'm afraid.

          Appearance

We were first attracted to this dishwasher because of how stylish it looks. You can see in the picture it is a very shiny silver colour and has a gorgeous silver handle bar on the front that enables you to open it. On our old dishwasher you had to put your hands underneath this plastic handle to open it, and it wasn't at all shiny. This one is so much better.
We really love how it looks in the kitchen and think it is very posh. When people come round to the house they always compliment us on it and how proffessional it looks. Only one person has said to us that it looks like a machine that should belong in a factory, and that was someone who hates all kitchen appliances and is often very moody (my gran!). Most people who have seen the dishwasher think it looks modern and really like it.

          Performance

We think this dishwasher performs excellently. There is no addition noise although you can hear it a bit it isn't too loud which can only be a good thing. It is very easy to put dishes into this, and take them out again. It always cleans them very well - except for one time when my sister put washing up liquid into it instead of dishwasher tablets! But usually, as long as you know how to work the dishwasher (which is very simple) the performance of this one is very good.

          Durability

We've had this for six months and it has lasted us all this time without breaking, which is brilliant. With our last dishwasher it was always stopping in the middle of a wash, or leaking, but with this one there haven't been any problems. If you're careful with it and treat it well it should last you a really long time.

          Value for money

My parents refused to tell me how much this dishwasher costed, therefore I can only conclude that it was very expensive. It looks expensive and certainly works very well, so I would say that it is good value for money.
If you are looking to buy this I would recommend it, and I know for a fact this dishwasher is available to buy at lots of different places; I'm sure while driving past my local electrics shop not long back I saw this dishwasher in the window with a good deal on it.
For the best prices I would recommend amazon and ebay as they always seem to have some good deals.
          Overall, this is recommended.
