Bosch SHV55M03GB ... top end machine was installed in July 2007 - worked well until two weeks ago, when it refused to pump out water. Went through all the diagnostics and decided it was the pump that had probably failed. Tried to contact Bosch to find out if there was a guarantee on it, but unable to raise their customer services. Their engineering dept said there was a 2 year on it, so it had just run out. Perfect timing. Having been through the automated call handing system 4 times by now, including being put on hold for ages, then getting cut off, didn t seem much point in going through all that again so got an independent engineer out only to be told that no it wasn t the pump b... Kenwood KDW12SS ... have had this dishwasher for about 18 months now - my first experience at owning onw! We bought this model thinking of Kenwood as a well known and high quality brand, however for me personally i am not sure it quite lives up to my previous expectations! Thinking firstly about the practical side of how it fills up, i think Kenwood have not thought this through as well as they should. The shape and angle of the wire racks are actually quite impractical in my view - we have 3 sets of dinner plates, one of which fit nicely as they should, the other 2 sets need you to leave a large gap between every plate, wasting considerable amounts of space. Beko DWD5410 ... be honest we had a few problems with this item. the dirt from the dishes floated around in the dishwasher and covered everything else in sauces and food stains. Its okay for things like plates cups, forks and knives etc, but pots and pans need to be washed by hand as this particular dishwasher doesnt seem to cope very well. There are a range of heat and programme settings and used with a high quality dishwasher tablet really can bring up your basic items to a brilliant shine. Requires cleaning about every 6-8 weeks with a dishwasher cleaning liquid to achieve the best results. Its all about how you stack it too, cups tend to do better on the top shelf than on the botto...
