My mother has just bought a Hotpoint First Edition dishwasher from the Argos Superstore in her local town. She has never owned a dishwasher before, and me and my sister were always trying to convince her to get one, as it would make life easier for her.

My mother entertains a lot, and has lots of coffee mornings, so as you can imagine she has a lot of dishes to wash.

Now that she has got her new dishwasher she keeps saying that she doesn't know how she managed without one, after she has had her dinner party, instead of washing pots, she pops all the dirty dishes and glasses in the dishwasher and puts it on in the morning.

This dishwasher she bought has five different programmes, including a quick wash which is perfect if your pots are not really dirty, which suits my mum after her coffee mornings as most of the plates have only had a cake or biscuit on it.

The machine also has a water hardness adjuster which is good as different parts of the country have different types of water, luckily her water is quite soft, unlike mine which is hard and causes a lot of limescale on my kettle and washing machine.

I like this dishwasher very much, and when mine breaks down, I will definitely buy one, as her Hotpoint is bigger than mine, and has tons of useful features.
