Electrolux ESL624 Dishwasher, dimensions are width 59.6cm, height 87.8cm, Depth (without door open) 55 cm and with door open 111.4cm.

The capacity of this dishwasher will accomodate 12 place settings.

For best rseults as with all dishwashers all scraps of food should be removed. Saucepans, cups and glasses should be arranged upside-down, items with convex or concave surfaces should be tilted to allow water to drain easily. Contact between dishes should be avoid as far as possible.

To save energy wait until the dishwasher is full before you run it, if necessary you can run the rinse and hold programme so that food scraps do not become caked on whilst waiting to run the complete wash programme.

As you open the door on the top left is the on/off switch on the right is the programme selector dial with also a written guide to the programmes.

The appliance is equipped with a water softener designed to remove minerals and salts from the water supply, the dial settings are 0 to 5, and the unit comes pre-set at number 2. Dial is adjusted by use of a screwdriver, the local water authority can advised on water hardness in your area.

The dishwaher tablet is located in a dispenser located inside the door. There is a lower and upper basket for loading items and also a cutlery basket that sits on the lower one, if washing very large plates the height of the upper basket can be adjusted.

There are four wash cycles: 1. Normal 65 degress with pre-wash, 2. Normal 65 degrees with no pre-wash, 3. Quick Wash 65 degrees, Rinse and Hold (for partial loads).

This is a very simple to use unit, with great results - some items occassionally have to be done twice but we can't expect it to be a miracle worker.

Remember items will be hot if trying to remove them immediately after the wash cycle and steam will be released for quite a while after cycle completion when you open the door.
