Baumatic BFD65W ... this is made by a good company, this model is clearly a blip in their otherwise good service. The internal layout is poor - large pans do not fit into the bottom tray and wine glasses only fit into the top if the rather silly dropdown system is put into place. This lessens the capacity of the lower tray. This means that you have a choice between dinner plates or wine glasses - no real design thinking here. The drying function is also lacking, so water drips onto clean plates when you take things from the top. My final complaint is that the machine sometimes fails to drain, so you have to reset the electronics to use it again. I have had much better dishwashing f... Bosch SRS43A02GB ... bought this dishwasher 4 years ago and it is still going strong. Bosch applicances tend to be tough and long lasting (even my plumber agrees). As I have a small kitchen, I bought the 45cm model (half size). Whilst it doesn t have as much space as the full size model, you can still stack 10-12 plates and still have space for a saucepan and frying pan in the bottom rack. The top rack is sturdy and can take quite a lot of weight (I put my supposed-to-be-handwashed japanese bowls here). The buttons are very intuitive (I ve never read the manual as the labels on top of the buttons (e.g. Normal 65 deg; Eco 50 deg, Quick 35 deg) are intuitive and self explanatory. Unli... Hotpoint FDW60 ... think this dishwasher is fantastic, i paid just under 200 for it when it was in the sale and think it is ont of the best things i have ever bought. there is only two of us in the house and it takes a few teas to fill it up so only switch it on every other day if that. I really do rate this product, it looks nice, its quiet and it quick. I must admit i only ever wash the dishes on the 40 degree quick and it gets everything clean first time, i cannot think of any downsides, oh a couple of times i have overfilled the machine and the spinning washing thing hasnt bee able to spin, but thats my fault.
