The display has a countdown timer on also, to let you see how long is left on the cycle. The main feature of this machine is just how quiet it is in normal operating mode! Even whilst filling, the machine is barely audible - I have to check that the time is counting down on the display to see if it is still on, it is that quiet! This is a fantastic dishwasher! Only purchased about 2 weeks ago, but this is so much better than any other dishwasher I have owned! It is extremely easy and versatile on loading, and came with detachable baby bottle racks, which although I don't need, I thought was a nice touch. It also has a baby bottle washing programme, again, a nice touch.
