When my whirlpool dishwasher went bang on Christmas day 2005. I decided to buy a new. So I went into town on Boxing Day and after only being in one store I spotted this Hotpoint dishwasher and as all my other appliances are Hotpoint my mind was made up. I got it for £199.99 which was £60 less.
A long week later of doing dishes it arrived 9 o clock in the morning which is good service. The delivery man plumed it in and tested it he said it was fine and left.
The instruction manual is very simple to understand. If you didn’t have the manual you could easily work the dishwasher. I didn’t have many dishes just some breakfast ones which only took up the top shelf. So I read the manual. First you have to switch the dishwasher on then choose your programme by using the programme button then select any other options half load or delay start.
I decided to use half load with the fast wash as the dishes weren’t very dirty. Half load only uses enough water for the top shelf. Delay start can be 3, 6, 9, 12 hours.
The programme times vary:
Intensive takes 2 hours.
Normal takes just over an hour
Eco 2 hours
Fast 26 mins
Prewash 12 mins
Delicates 92 minutes
I usually use prewash and then normal to save me having to use intensive wash.
I usually do 2 washes a day as I’m a hairdresser and have my clients coming to my house with all the cups and dishes I can easily have two loads a day. This dishwasher is quiet, gets the dishes clean and a great time saver. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants a dishwasher.
