Advantages: cost and energy ratings are good

I brought this dishwasher about 5 years ago now. It was the second one I had brought. As you do with most purchases you have to look at what you want for your money, ie: cost, energy ratings, place setting and ease of use.

I liked the fact that it had a built in filter, the first dishwasher I had didnt have this feature and I ended up paying more out in the long run!

For the first 4 years I didnt have any problems, typical you ask? yes it is, nothing is built to last forever these days. Just before my guarantee ran out my dishwasher leaked from what I assumed was the seal? I was wrong according to the engineer this dishwasher has a float tank underneath which is close to the floor, if this gets full, the water level in the dishwasher rises and you end up with a flooded kitchen... To remedy this he unplugged the dishwasher first and tipped the dishwasher forward at about a 45 degree angle, this is done to empty the float tank...

So if any of you have this problem and need to call an engineer try this first it definately works and because I had a qualified engineer show me what to do it is safe as long as you first unplug the dishwasher, second make sure you empty the dishwasher of all pots and pans and third make sure you have a few bath towels on the floor to help mop up the water.... And most important make sure the dishwasher door is closed...

All in all this is a good dishwasher but this fault with the float tank can make things very messy and WET!!!!

My advice is to get this insured, I use my dishwasher every day and as a result there is going to be problems, I have saved myself a fortune in repair bills... My dishwasher is insured with domestic and General and I pay about £6.98 a month....
