I too bought a zanussi silver version of this dishwasher around the same time as the other reviewee.
I dont normally write reviews, but I am shopping around (again) looking for a replacement.
I bought this last time because it was slightly bigger than others on the market. Hence it's only been on once a day (or less).
I too have had nothing but trouble with the zanussi.
Although the silver exterior cleans OK, by not having a stainless steel interior, it quickly stains inside when washing tomato-based foods from dishes - the plastic interior ends up a mucky pink colour until its gone through a few more cycles.
It too broke down within a week or two of purchase. It was repaired (after a wait) & kept going (albeit getting noisier & noisier) until last week.
The programs stop mid-cycle, it failed to empty, and when inspected I was told water had leaked into the machine causing a safety cut-out. Although that could be repaired (at a hefty cost) I was informed the increasing noisiness was from the pump which hadnt much life left in it & that would add substantially to repair costs!
After having a good old hotpoint table top dishwasher for many years prior to this, I will be looking to go back to them, (or elsewhere) with my business this time. The cost of repairs (about £80) is outweighed by being able to obtain replacements (incl 3 yr warranty) for about £150.
Since writing this review I have purchased a Coolzone Table Top Dishwasher 51065, at less than £130 and I am more than happy with it. see my review of that instead.
