Don't get me wrong, this mixer is filled with features that will make a song sound completly different, and much better if you implement these features correctly.
Quick kill swithes on the bass, high and med give great effects in the build up to songs, and the smoothenss of the gain allows a song to fade in seamlessly.

With a vinly or CDJ jog wheel option, tempo lock, LCD display, seamless loop with jog wheel shortening or lengthening, and a damn right sexy design, this CDJ is the best of its kind. I have another model of CD Decks at home, but when I play in clubs and my weekly radio show, these decks give me the industrial performance I need and the electro tech house tunes I play just get better and better. Allen & Heath Xone:62 ... has been included in any mixer over the past ten years. It makes the Pioneers built in effects unit look like a childs toy! The VCF filter is really easy to get used to, but very difficult to master which makes it challenging and a little different each time you use it. Normally mixers' channels are normally split into three ranges, namely the low, mid and treble. But with the Xone:62, you get four ranges (low, low-mid, high-mid, high) which gives it far more playability and functionality than any other sub-£800 mixer. Allen & Heath Xone:32 ... mid & high). Secondly, this mixer is buit like a brick - no wobbly buttons or faders, and it is this trademark of the Xone series which really shows when using the mixer. On top of this, the easy to use VCF filter which pretty much acts as a built in effects unit, is superb. I believe that this effect is all you really need, unlike the effects on any of the Pioneer mixers (most effects sound terrible on these). Cons It has always baffled me why Allen & Heath decided to put the line gain buttons on the back of the unit. The Aux buttons are found in the usual gain spot on the mixer.
