Numark Bluedog 2: ... bluedog mixer is the ideal mixer to go with your Numark TT-1510 decks. If you purchase the decks, then this mixer will, more often than not, come complete with the set. It is a compact, neat and tidy mixer, and it has the basic features that a beginner DJ would need, such as volume and level controls for each channel, the mixer is only a 2 channel mixer, but it is perfect for the beginner, as you do not need t...

poisonfish Gemini PMX-140
... trying other people's equipment for a while, I decided to buy my own equipment. Alongside a Citronic PD-Q, I now present my opinion of the mixer I chose - the Gemini PMX-140. It is hard to fault the 140. Whilst I have had minor niggles with the decks, there is nothing that this mixer does not do, at least at a basic level. If you are nor familiar with mixers, at it's simplest, a mixer takes two or more audio inputs and allows the user to "mix" the two feeds into one. The 140 is a solid bit of equipment. Sturdy enough for any (dry!) bedroom use. It is 10 inches by 10 inches, and 3 inches deep. It comes in a silvery grey, in what I call...

Haz123 Valvestate AVT50
... amp is brillaint. This amp is a beast but compared to its realitives its nothing. This is the smallest possible amp to gig with. Its a 50 valve amp which means instead of using transitors, it uses valves. (if u want to know more about this check out the marshall site). This amp is the next stage up from a practice amp and the stage under the propper massive giging amp. It has special outs which can be plugged into mixers and digitally recored so no sound quality is lost. It has a special loops circuit so effects can be plugged in...this makes them sound better if u gig with them. Marshalls is in my oppinion the best company when it comes to amp but they really ...

DJ_Damage Numark Battlepack2002
... saved for weeks for a new mixer after I had discovered that the mixer supplied with my soundlab decks was frankly shocking. Seeing as I was new to all this whole DJ thing I decided to buy the Numark 2002 purely on the basis that it looked pretty damn sexy. I know I know, I should have researched into it ect but I was young and impressionable so the Numark 2002 it was then. A year on and am I pleased with this mixer....oh yes!!! 3 inputs (2 phono/line 1 phono/line/mic), a send facility on each of the channels (for using samplers, synths, etc), master volume control, booth vloume control, cueing up to 3 channels at a time, kill buttons (high, mid, low) on all ch...
