Korg Kaoss Pad 3 KP3 Effector:
... third in the series from audio megastars Korg . Primarily known for creating effects units and keyboards, korg have created a very powerful audio sampling processing unit here! Despite looking quite daunting at first....the unit is actually designed very well and is very simple to use, the main feature being the XY touch screen pad allowing users to adjust hundreds of different parameters in real time with ease... Korg - Triton Rack Module ... you already have a keyboard midi controller that you wouldn t change for another but your fond the of sounds and tones heard from The Korg Triton Keyboard ? Well here is your answer! The Korg Triton Rack Module is exactly the same minus the keys of course! All of the sounds, expansions, sampling and effects remain but in the form of a two unit piece of rack gear! Simply plug your current midi controller into the units Midi input and your away! Its clear to see straight from looking at it that it very much looks like they just ripped the screen and buttons from the keyboard! They all group together to form what looks like a very confusing piece of kit but it really c... Read the full review: Great for all music makers! by winger15mk |

Korg Kaoss Pad 3 KP3 Effector ... KP3 is the third installment from Korg in the Kaoss Pad series and it proves to combine many features into one. First and foremost it is a dynamic effects processor which can effect any audio processed through it whether it be through the RCA stereo phono input or through the quarter inch jack input where a mic can be placed. These effects include grain shifters, delays, vocoders as well as loopers and the parameters of these effects are all controlled by the LED touchpad in the centre of the unit. The KP3 s second function is that of a sampler. This is where you can really get creative as you can sample anything from the audio inputs or through pre-peared samples... Korg - TR-Rack ... have been playing with the Korg TR-Rack for about a month now. Korg sounds are reliably-excellent. Fat and rich. There are sooo many sounds and options to vary those sounds it seems they are endless. I have given this product 4 stars. I would have given 4.5, but not 5 stars. Driving this puppy is difficult. The interface is not intuitive as other reviews may have suggested. Perhaps I am not as clever as the prior reviewer, but if I am average (I hope I am at least average!!!) this gives users who have never manipulated one of these an idea from another persons perspective. I have been struggling with disabling midi channels 1-10 (reserved for a downstream mid... Read the full review: Great sounds - difficult to operate by Barron Anderson |
