Marshall MG50DFX Combo Amp:
... ve enjoyed the Marshall MG50 and have owned mine for about 5 years now. Firstly I would like to say that in its price range, this is definetly the most cost effective amp money can buy, however I do have a few issues with it Advantages: The amp is extremely easy to use and offers one clean channel for a clean guitar sound (Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble) and one overdrive channel for distortion, this contains a sound c... Marshall MS-4 ... you want a small practice amp so you can just shred away wherever you are, then this is the perfect one for you. From such small piece of kit the sound is immense, not to mention the quality. I play through this with a BC Rich VG-1 when im away from my normal 15 watt amp, and sometimes i forget ive switched to a smaller amp. It picks up even the most ridiculously high pitched harmonics, which is impressive for such a small amp. It even has an overdrive feature! I picked this up for around 25 quid off a friend who bought it new, and didnt particularly like it, so i managed to get a decent bargain. It runs off a battery or a DC power supply, which arent included, but eas... Read the full review: Marshalls Mini Amp by TheDenominator |

Marshall MG50DFX Combo Amp ... amp has worked very well for me over the past couple of years, and hopefully will work well for the future. It s perfect for anyone who wants to have a jam with their mates, or just practicing at home, however i wouldn t advocate that it was powerful enough to play live unless it was rigged up through a pa system. It packs enough punch to play really heavy songs but also the added bonus of the effects also makes it possible for you to play more alternative music without that aid of effects pedals and since recently marshall have put alot of effort into improving their clean sound, which really does show if you set the bass, treble and countour right. The footswit... Read the full review: Marshall MG50DFX a very good starting point by buju9 |

Marshall MS-4 ... can take this around anywhere! Although it is so small, it actually puts out a fairly high volume, on just s 9V battery (somehow). Now, obviously it s not going to compete with a drum kit! But it certainly is loud enough for practising before going on stage, or in a class room, or just out on the street if you want to irritate people by consistanly playing the Nokia tune on your guitar! Being a Marshall, it actually gives you a fair sound quality, and even a bit of that marshall tone. Although nothing compared to a full 30W Marshall amp, it certainly isn t bad! You have a input socket and 9V input if you want it to be powered by mains to the left side, and a output sock... Read the full review: Mini Amp! by joefireline |
