Don't get me wrong, this mixer is filled with features that will make a song sound completly different, and much better if you implement these features correctly.
Quick kill swithes on the bass, high and med give great effects in the build up to songs, and the smoothenss of the gain allows a song to fade in seamlessly.
I would definatly recommend this mixer to the beginner DJ who is in search of quality performance at a very good price.

I started off my DJ career buying this mixer with two Citronic MPCDS6's and it was the best move I have ever made. I wanted to throw my self straight into the deep end and buying the most expensive equipment, but to start with, this mixer gave me all the experience I needed to gradually move up to a more advanced level.
