... started off my DJ career buying this mixer with two Citronic MPCDS6 s and it was the best move I have ever made. Numark PRO SM1 ... mixer kicks ass!!!! has all the controls and adjusments any pro DJ could ever dream of and the sliders are optical so no replacements needed and no crackle and so smooth! had this baby for nearly six years gigging all over south west uk and still kicking it. paid £399 new and very happy. no crackles on switches or sliders! why don t they still make it??? total headphone control with it s own sweet little cross fade. cool blue led. several outputs for my sampler, computer and amps and mic xlr and accurate levels leds for a change. nice.... Numark TT-1650 ... for weekly pub gigs etc and they treated me incredibly well. Though it s plastic components certainly aren t top of the range, it s really the mechanics that count. Even stalwart Technics users have said how remarkably well these decks keep time, and anyone beatmixing knows how crucial that is. What s more, the double start/stop buttons that allow you to set the decks up battle style allows for use in smaller spaces (such as bedrooms or small booths), and allow for ease of movement and dexterity for scratch dj s. While I wouldn t buy the same again as I m more professional now - I have kept with Numark because the insides count, and they re pretty nice lookin too... Numark Bluedog 2 ... bluedog mixer is the ideal mixer to go with your Numark TT-1510 decks. If you purchase the decks, then this mixer will, more often than not, come complete with the set. It is a compact, neat and tidy mixer, and it has the basic features that a beginner DJ would need, such as volume and level controls for each channel, the mixer is only a 2 channel mixer, but it is perfect for the beginner, as you do not need to start including more than 2 inputs until some experience and skill is acquired. There is a smooth moving crossfader, but I have found one flaw in this department, and that is that when the crossfader is moved, it takes a long time for the channels to incr...
