The Roland DJ2000 is a serious bit of kit. It is designed with the professional stage DJ in mind, someone who really likes to play with the music live and add something of his own style to it. The mixer has 4 channels, plus an extra one for the microphone, the obligatory crossfader and gains for high, mid, and low on all channels, (+/- 16db). It has punch in/out buttons which are great for people who like to scratch and play in the mix, but the crossfader isn't really designed with this in mind. These allow you to instantly place a channel "in the mix" without moving the crossfader, giving a very quick response. The DJ2000 ...
