Sunday afternoon …. Wet, windy and really not boating weather. Next best thing to ‘messing about on the river’ is a good movie and a big ole bowl of hot calorie laden caramel popcorn (well, not the next best thing! ; )) Now you all know what an exciting weekend I had, yeah? But if excitement, and the stigma of going wild at the weekend is based on the amount of times you laugh during the course of the cosseted filled two days of rest? Well then, crown me the Queen of Wild!! Old people are surely such a rich source of comedy that I am suprised that more funny movies haven't been made around them. Maybe its because Hollywood thinks that we would all rather see firm young meat on screen rather than a bunch of wrinkled old folks, and to be fair, more than a few movies have played off just this fact - how many times has a really bad movie been watched by fans of the hot young male/female starlets in the cast? Far too many times of course, but I digress.
