My in-laws bought a christmas themes armitage dog for their 8 year old labrador. He was terrified by the unusal snorting noise of this toy, but needless to say when my 2 year old staffie cross came storming into the room and saw it he picked it up, shook it, chewed on it for approximately 30 minutes and the pig oinked no more!
This rubbery toy was loved by Rafa but really isn't designed for the hardcore chewing dog. He has had 4 of them now (I picked them up reduced). Once punctured by a sharp tooth, the oinking stops, and Rafa proceeded to pull out the stuffing- this was a white wire like stuffing that stuck horribly to my carpet!
If you have a strong dog like mine then this toy won't last long, but he did enjoy it whilst it did last. Also be aware that if you have a whimp of a dog like my in laws lab, they might be scared! So pop along to pets at home or another pet shop where you can squeeze it first to see your dogs reaction. A bit of a waste of money for a strong dog- the rubber is very thin. Great for a toothless dog?
